Game would be over but Corey Patterson's an idiot. Orioles player appeared to get HBP, umpire didn't see it as such. Either way it was at least a wild pitch and Patterson didn't run home.

stop f***ing dreaming , clemens isnt 30 anymore he's finished , he hasent even faced a top notch offense and his ERA is 5.32

 

and to be honest actually i would be pretty comfortable facing the rocket against whoever he is pitching against

Why not? Tavarez has about .70 points of ERA on Clemens.

 

Besides, don't you think Tim Wakefield would make a Game 4 start? Beckett, Matsuzaka, Schilling, Wakefield? I think the Red Sox would go with Beckett on short rest, rather than start those three.

Poll the managers in baseball today and ask them who they would rather trot to the mound today---Tavarez, Hansack, Gabbard or Clemens. I am pretty sure that the vote would be unanimous for Clemens. Our FO was willing to give him $12 million starting in July.

 

I hate Clemens as much as anyone, and the sight of him in a Yankee uni still makes me sick. When Huff hit the Homer tonight, my statement to my friend was "good for that whore Clemens. I wonder if he thought he'd be doing Greek this time around." The vulgarity and my hatred for Clemens aside, I'd rather him take the ball every 5th day this year than those other jerk offs.
