Wow, Gascaino gets the 36" plate. The Yankees have had some tough luck with a few calls on the bases, but their pitchers have been given a pretty big plate in some pretty big spots fairly consistently.

To be quite frank though, Gascan has really been pitching well of late.

Oh, good stuff. Yeah, it was just annoying as hell to see the menu. It was an eye sore.

Uh, what are you jumping out of the way for? That was right over the inside corner...

You thought that was a strike? Posada was straddling the inside box line and it hit him center of mass.

Eh, I originally thought it was, but I guess the white stuff I saw on the ground was SopCast's picture quality extending the plate a bit. It's not bad picture quality, but I guess it made the plate look a little bigger.

You're pretty much always on the money though so I'll take your word for it and believe it was too inside.

8-5. YA!!!!

BTW, anyone try the summer lager from Sam Adam's? It is incredible.

It's good. The best lager I've ever had is Samuel Smith's Lager. They make a hell of an Oatmeal Stout too.

Hmm. Where do you get that? Never had an oatmeal stout. I was a strictly lite beer drinker until Sammy opened my eyes. Now I am trying the heavier beers and liking what I see so far. Certain ones suck. But that is how it goes.

One of the great things about syracuse was the beer festival they had every yr where you got a glass, spent 30 bucks and tried 94 glasses of beer ranging from the typical lite beers to the homebrews and backwater beers. They were amazing. I left there so wasted that I took a cab the wrong direction trying to get home. But the beer was worth it.

I don't know where you get it up north. Any store that has a varied beer selection will probably have it. Down here in FL you have to go to ABC to find it. ABC is a joint that just sells booze in all of its wonderous forms with a multitude of varieties of each.

I'm watching the game and inferring from what I'm seeing on the screen. I live 10 minutes from Fenway, lol.

It's supposed to rain here around 10 tonight, so whatever's in NY is moving northward very slowly.
