Dice-K certainly lived up to his billing yesterday. Dominant from start to finish. Not sure if the Sox bats were idled yesterday by the weather or by Greinke's pitching. It was interesting to see Dice-K pitch finally and I do feel sorry for Veritek, how the hell do you call a game when your pitcher has five solid pitches and will throw any one of them at any count on a hitter. It is going to be interesting to watch him pitch this year and see how hitters try to adjust against him. I was a bit surprised that they let him cross the 100 pitch mark yesterday though considering how cold it was.

They probably let him go over the 100 pitch mark because it got them 7 innings, Beckett pitched well but the BP filled in for 4 innings, Matsuzaka gave them a bit of a break going 7 innings...
