Does anyone happen to know a station where I can listen to the game from down here in LA? I can't find a station, nor do I know of one and when I go to work in an hour I want to be able to listen to the rest of the game while I'm there.

So can anyone tell me of a national station that is carrying this game?

If you want to listen regularly, you'll have to buck up and either get XM radio or the mlb.radio streaming subscription.

XM is great. The MLB package is fantastic. The only kinda crappy thing is that the broadcasts are always the home team, so half the time you have to listen to the other shitbags bringing the game. Not a problem for me since I despise Waldman.

XM Radio really is a terrific investment for baseball fans.

You can listen to any live game on that right?

Yeah, Gameday Audio streams both the home and away broadcast. I got Trupe'd a lot last year. Not anymore.

Haha, I'm kinda glad no one gets Trupe'd anymore.

Still, those guys were Red Sox radio for a really long time.

Since the topic is radio. I like Dave O'Brien, but the other new guy, Geffner, seems to talk alot. I know it sounds ridiculous to say a radio guy talks too much, but at every pause he seems to blurt out some stat or repeat a point he's made. Almost every time Castiglione says something, this guy has answer back. It almost sounds like a college radio game. I thought you needed experience in order to land a big job like Red Sox radio announcer.

Since this goes along with the topic: Is today's (Wednesday) game on 850 or 680 AM? The Boston Globe's website says WRKO, but RedSox.com says 'EEI. I remember reading something about WEEI carrying the Wednesday games for whatever reason, so I assume RedSox.com is right.

Call me crazy but I really liked listening to Joe and Jerry, they both have good radio voices and they both were homers to a certain extent. Sure Jerry gave me a few heartattacks on weak pops ups, but the two had a good chemistry doing radio together. Glen Geffner just doesn't do it for me, his voice is really boring to listen to. I agree with Mosox, he talks way to much.

I like the new guy..

Trupe got old and bitter.. didnt seem to give a f***... my pet peave with him, though, was his consatnt " not going anywhere for a while" comments whenever the game slowed down..

STFU Trupe.. its your job to fly all over the country.. go to the ballpark and sit there and talk.. its not that hard of a job.. id take it anyday.. I work 50 hour weeks just to kick back on my day off to hear you bitch about the length of games?

Have a snickers Jerry .. I dont think your career is "going anywhere for a while".
