Id take OAK,TOR,MIN pitching staffs over NY's.

I'd also take F. Hernedez, Kazmir over anyone in NY's rotation besides Wang. Hughes does look good tho I will have to admit.

OAK has who, Blanton, Harden and Haren. Harden is never on the field, so the combo of Blanton and Haren does not beat out the top 3 the yankees have. Toronto lost Lilly from a rotation that was about the same as the yankees last yr and filled it with Ohka. MIN has the propensity to have Ramon Ortiz and Sidney Ponson in their rotation.

Tomo Ohka > Kei Igawa.

Minnesota still has Santana, and Garza/Bonser will be much improved.

Ohka>Igawa? We shall see. Ohka blows and if you are right' date=' Igawa will blow harder. I hope you are wrong.[/quote']

Ohka has a career 4.04 ERA and a career ERA+ of 111.

Igawa was average in Japan. Ohka is slightly above average in the MLB. Which is better?

Igawa was not average in Japan. He was league MVP once and was the strikeout king twice. Just because he has an average fastball does not mean his stats are average.

This guy has been stinking up the joint so far.

His control has been poor, which goes against his career stats. He is striking a lot of batters out though, which means he has some solid stuff. Thing is, he may be trying to nibble rather than pitch. He has big league stuff, but he hasnt put it together yet.
