That's what he's supposed to say. He's a good kid along with Durant and obviously both of them are going to say the right things along the way. Obviously he's 95% sure he's coming out, and I think every time he gets reminded of his wrist injury he gets closer and closer to 100%.

 

Oden and Durant have nothing left to accomplish (except I could possibly see Oden staying with Conley and Cook to win a championship, which is doubtful in itself). Durant and Oden dominated all year long, and were quite possibly the two best players in the country as freshmen.

We all heard this kind of talk when Syracuse won it all back in 2003. Carmelo said that one should go to college for four years and then he declared for the draft.

 

In any case, you'd have to be insane to believe that Oden won't declare himself for the draft this summer. Same with OJ Mayo next year.

I've always thought that there's a chance that if 'Melo didn't win the Championship he'd be back. According to him, he intended to stay two years, but managed to accomplish everything he wanted to accompish in one.
