Something very interesting to note that isnt on this article... Speculation is that the Rangers had to decide which of the 2 (Teixeira, Young) would they lock down to be their face of the franchise. Teixeira is a free agent after 2008. Have him come back to the team that originally drafted him perhaps? A guy can only dream

I think this will turn out good, Wells might have 1 more year, and there's no room for him anyway... and we had no catching prospects and now we do... and Kottras will probably catch back up next year and take over after Tek... as sad as it may be...

 

I also see him getting some time in the Show this year, maybe after the All-Star break or so...
