I dont think this can be taken at all seriously.

 

Had Leyritz considered a comeback in say 2003, or MAYBE 2004 I wouldn't feel this way. But now, prior to the 2007 season, this is a complete joke. I doubt he can do anything for you on the offensive side of the ball, and he was never quite known for his glove. The only plus about Leyritz, in my opinion, is his versatility.

 

If he catches on somewhere, i'll certainly be rooting for him; but i'm not expecting that anytime soon.

I agree with you..but he was as clutch a post-season hitter out there...remember? Maybe the Yankees should bring him back just so he can teach Arod a thing or two about hitting under pressure...

 

I mean, how many guys can say they hit 3 clutch homeruns with his team behind/tied, in three different post-seasons? Not many.
