The Pads will score because the Cardinal pitching staff behind Carpenter's pretty thin. I don't put much faith in Suppan/Marquis/Weaver/Reyes combo. Plus they lost Izzy for the season.

I liked the Padres even before they matched up against the Cardinals. Williams/Peavy/Wells/Young is a much better rotation and even if the Cardinals take game 1 (likely considering Carpenter's the better pitcher right now) the Padres should win the rest.

Padres in 4.

Padres/Dodgers, the "Red Sox" West rather, look to take the NL playoffs by storm. Im banking on a showdown between the 2 rival teams. How about seeing Nomah coming up to bat against D-Lowe on a cold October night in a scoreless ballgame?

when?

is he taking batting practice in the bullpen??

theyre on the same team

speaking of mrs hamm

im rooting for him despite my dislike for dodger blue

i know he was a sullen little ********** at the end of his boston tour but this guy had some amazing moments while he was here and he looked at one point like he may be done as a pro

plus

anytime a ny team loses in any sport i feel the bright side of the force get stronger

Padres are gonna beat the Cards. They're the hotter team with the most momentum. The Cards may win a game with some Pujols heroics but the Pads are just steamrolling right now.
