Tonight is the battle of two very ugly men.

To keep the bickering going. Ours is much uglier than yours. Johnson's SFR -- Scag Face Rating -- is only 1.34. JT's is much higher. And, he looks like Freddy Krueger. 'Nuff said.

 haha, yeah Tavarez scares the hell out of me. I dont know how hitters are able to hit against him.

What is with Abreu's red glove? Pedro left his behind when he left the RedSox and went to a blue glove for the Mets. I can see the Red glove with the Phillies, but it looks out of place with the Yankees.

From what I understand Randy Johnson's wife is pretty hot. I guess having money helped RJ there.
...or maybe everything else is in proportion with his 6'10" frame.

I think I'm going to throw up. That's something that no one should ever have to think about.

(Nice play by Pena.)

Funny you say that because when RJ first signed here he was on David Letterman and Letterman asked him why they called him the Big Unit and he hinted at that very reason.

Flaherty on the Yankee broadcast mentioned how the Yankees picked up Abreu and Lidle and how Theo couldn't get a deal done at the deadline. He's the first announcer or writer that I have heard mention that some of the Red Sox players were not happy about that. I have always felt that the team had to feel let down by the lack of reinforcements. They were doing their best to hold things together with bubble gum and rubber bands waiting for help. When none came, there were some additional injuries and I believe a big mental let down to the point where a lot of guys quit mentally.

Tavarez looks like he's locking up the long-man in the 'pen job for next year. So, we got that going for us.

I know that the love Krapler in the clubhouse, but I really hope that he is not on the roster next season. If they want him in the clubhouse, make him the clubhouse boy.

There is no way Krapler could be on this roster next year, is there? No... no.

If this FO really has a "plan" for this team, then kapler's departure better be up near the top of the list. I would much rather have Coco Crisp doing Kaplar's role than Kapler doing Kapler's role.

BTW, Pedroia has looked much more comfortable at the plate recently, hasn't he?

Yeah, we gotta hang onto Gonzo. I understand that Coco looks bad, but I also assume that there is something wrong with him. I'm not sure what it is, although I've heard his finger has still been bothering him.

The thing is that I WANT to like Coco. I like his style of play and I think he seems like the type of guy I can imagine winning a WS or two with this team. He's just not clicking right now for whatever reason.
