Yep. Any word on an injury? I was flipping back as he came off the field and they made it sound like he was cramping up.

Marques Colston, who is playing tonight against the Cowboys, has left during the second quarter with cramps in his right calf or upper ankle area.

Trainers came out to massage his leg while he laid on the field, and NBC's Andrea Kramer has reported that he is expected to return. Jamal Jones came into the game while Colston was out and scored a touchdown.

Holy s***. The Saints are up 42-17 on the Cowboys and it's not even the end of the 3rd quarter yet. They look like they're going to roll right through the NFC and into the super bowl, and I won't be surprised. This team is very scary this year. And what's more, is that they have, IMO, the best WR core in the game when everyone is healthy (I know that the Bengals and Colts say hello, but Joe Horn and the youth on this team in Colston and Henderson, and their talent boosts them over those teams) and oh yeah, a guy named Reggie Bush and a VERY deserving MVP award winner in Drew Brees. Brees could EASILY give Peyton Manning a run for his money for the title of "best quarterback in the league." The Saints are marching right into Miami this year, and what a fitting story :D I'm very happy for them. The city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana deserves it.

Say what you want about that pick but you don't win Championships in this league if you can't get to the quarterback or stop the run. If Mario Williams turns into a Julius Peppers type -- not saying he will, but if he gets, at the very least, close to a Julius Peppers type -- the Texans win. Besides, if Houston starts throwing some games they can have a shot at Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, or great players that can have a Reggie Bush type impact.

That's great that they wanted to get better with defense, but they could have worked out some trade at the Draft or something to get him. They didn't need to draft him Number 1 straight up.

In the Bears/Bucs game, I thought that touching the ball while you were out of bounds on a fumble recovery automatically meant a deadball. It was clear that Manning's left foot was out of bounds and that he touched the ball, to me. Is that how the rule is? Or is it alright as long as the player doesn't recover?

Eh, Bears missed a game winning FG attempt so I guess it's all moot.

Jets playoffs Senerios-

Even if the Jets were to beat the Dolphins and Raiders, they would need to have two of the following three to occur: Jacksonville losing once, Denver losing once, or Cincinnati losing twice.

It's not impossible. Cincinnati is at Denver this weekend and Jacksonville has the toughest stretch, hosting the Patriots, then playing at Kansas City. By the time the Jets play the Dolphins on Monday night, they could be back in control of their own playoff hopes, facing a "two wins and they're in" situation.

It's not just the wild card at stake for the Jets. If the Patriots lose twice and the Jets win out, the Jets will win the AFC East based on conference records.

Well, ones already done. Cinn lost yesterday, so they already got one of the 2, and Denvers playing Cinn next week, so one of the 2 will lose, it all comes down to Jax, now although Id love to win the division, its really unlikley for the Pats to lose 2 in a row, so I might need to just root for them, though I am looking into the fact that the Pats and Jax could tie, and thats just as good for the Jets but idk yet, but as of right now, I hope I get a nice Christmas gift with the Jets lkillin the fins on MNF like back in the day

Eight teams still alive for the wildcard in the AFC. That's insane. I don't dislike Denver's chances against Cinci... Cutler's starting to look good (I'd still rather have Jake in because winning that Seattle game would've been huge).

indy helped denver out last nite

cinci had been on a psuedo roll till then

freeny was a beast, manning was fantastic and their back had a huge game

i still think cinci is going places for some reason despite that defense looking like s***

too bad theyve had so many distractions via the police in cincinatti

fukin idiots should understand that the cops are gunning for them

f*** Gruden.

I guess he realized Rich Gannon Jr. was really a Rick Meier clone. Enough of the stale drafts, no offense, aging defense, and absolutely no plan to move foward. This bitch needs to be canned. Why we traded four draft picks and eight million for this colossal disaster is beyond me.

so you'd rather have someone with a 70 quarterback rating than 90?

Jay Cutler lost us the Seattle game. His growing pains cost us a game and we're fighting for the playoffs. I'd rather have that extra win and Jake Plummer. Cutler and the offense look absolutely terrible for 2.5 halves, and has looked good for 2.5 halves. Two of the good halves were against the Cardinals...

With Jake we had losses to the Colts, Chargers (in which the defensive blew a 17 point lead), and the Chiefs in Arrowhead. We were in a good position to win each game. What did he cost us? The entire offense was terrible against St. Louis. With Jake, we win the Rams game because Cutler did nothing to contribute to us being close. We rode the back of Tatum Bell the entire game. The game changed when Cutler through up an ill advised pass for a Seahawks TD. 70 yards through 55 minutes, and the last 70 were because of a great effort by Brandon Marshall.

OK here's jake stats in the teams lost

64 for 114 for 711 yards 2TD with 5INT and a 62.4 rating

now come on thats pathetic do you realize if he plays slightly better than that in those games they probly have 2 more wins and be sitting at 10-4 right now instead of 8-6

I have watched every single Broncos game this season. I saw every game Jake played, the good ones and the bad ones. At his worst, Jake never looked as bad as Jay Cutler did in the Seattle game and in the first half against San Diego. I have nothing against Cutler, I want him to be great, I have no loyalty I feel I need to keep to Jake -- I'm calling it exactly like I see it. Jake didn't lose us the Indianapolis or or first San Diego game. Larry Coyers game planning did, as well as his inability to adjust said game plan. Jake had a lot of things going against him. Inconsistent running game (Jay Cutler has had the better side of the running game), Javon Walker was his only capable WR and he never had a chance to develop any sort of chemisty with Brandon Marshall, which I'd assume Jay Cutler did through getting more snaps together in practice. The playcalling was as vanilla as playcalling can get.

In the Seattle game, Cutler missed open WR's downfield, and only managed to hit wide open underneath routes, and one route in which he almost overthrew the TE on a TD. He gave them 7 points and all of the momentum on his dumb decision. That play lost as that game, as much as you hate to believe it.

Jake couldn't have played any better against Indy. The stats don't show how good he was. He played well enough at home against San Diego to get a 17 point lead.

Good Pro-Bowl voting this year--

No Coles, no kerry Rhodes...but John Lynch makes it:dunno: :thumbdown

I'm shocked Rhodes didn't make it. He's been great.
