Green went the Marty conservative route with that playing calling on the last 2 plays. what a joke
Theismann said "don't get conservative and run the ball" and they did. Leinart was in control moving the ball with the pass.

Kornheiser's right. There's no hope for Arizona Cardinals football if they blow this game. Here's what we see a little bit of what Matt Leinart's made of. I'm pretty impressed, so far.

edit: Touchdown, Devin Hester. 24-23 Chicago. Pathetic.

Yeah, ya think he said it enough? What a joke by the Cardinals...they really blew this one. Un-f***ing-believable...well...now that I think about it, it's a team owned by the Bidwell's, they BLOW so horribly as owners, that the Cardinals will never win with them being the owners.

Neither can the Bucs. This team has no prayer at contending with that thing they call an offensive line. The defense got all old at once.

They overpaid for Gruden, who hasn't done anything with his own players. He should seriously send Tony Dungy and Rich McKay a fruit basket for letting him borrow his defense, while his overrated offense finishes 24th in the f***ing league.

Yeah, one of my caveats for the Bucs this year should have been about the O-Line performing. Although, Joseph and Trueblood (sp?) look promising. Was the 2nd round pick in next year's draft?

Yeah.

Kenyatta Walker, Anthony Davis, and Sean Mahan have to die. They aren't even close to adequete blockers.

The Bucs MUST draft Justin Blalock from Texas, AND Kyle Young from Fresno State.

Depends on their slot. With Galloway aging Calvin Johnson might be too hard to pass up.

I think the Bucs ultimate priority is to rebuild that offensive line. I've always thought that a dominant offensive tackle is better than a dominant WR.

But, if Johnson slips to 10-15 range, the Bucs should definitely snap him up.

They have room under the cap next year, so they could go that way to shore up the line. Although, I do agree, a good line is where you start. Besides, it's looking like a good year for WR in the draft, so there will be talent beyond the 1st round.

It looked like it would have been good from 65.

Impressive. Even though it was cold during Elam's attempt, he had the altitude and the wind at his back when he made it, so that's extremely impressive.

Broncos just gave up their second touchdown of the year thanks to a Jake Plummer interception.

Going into that series, Denver defense had been giving up 1.3 yards per play in the redzone.

Indianapolis @ Denver next week will be a doozy.

I'm pretty happy that Denver has been get to this game without giving much away the last two weeks. It's a thought I had after the Oakland game, and Bill Simmons mentioned the idea in his latest thread, that the Broncos came out with just enough to win. It's seriously looked like a High School playbook out there. Haven't given Indianapolis too much film to work with against our offense. I think that's been the reason for putting up the 13 and the 17 against Oakland and Cleveland respectively. Offense was able to move the ball very effectively, but after Elam missed a FG, we just sat on the 17 points.

However... how good is this defense? Denver has become the first team since, I think, 1934 to win 5 straight games scoring 17 or less in each of them.

We'll find out how good it is in the next few weeks when they play some of the better offenses. Thus far they have feasted on 4 offenses ranked 20 or higher in PPG. In the next 4 weeks they get 3 top-8 teams. They are good, but I won't be sold until they do it against more dynamic offenses on a consistent basis.

True, but the Bears haven't played one team in the top 15. Denver's played two top ten offenses and had, in my opinion, their most impressive performances in those games. Holding St. Louis to 6 FG's despite the Rams starting at least four drives within' field goal range, and one or two others in Broncos territory, and giving up only 7 points to the Pats, pretty much in garbage time and on a drive in which they'd basically gone into, not a prevent defense, but a more conservative. They only gave up a TD to Cleveland because Cleveland started the drive in the redzone.

They'll be tested in the upcoming weeks, but I this defense has been amazing so far.

It's too bas their offense doesn't play at the same level.

Tell me about it. Kinda like years past when we had the offense and we wished the defense would play at the same level.

I hope I'm right about Shanahan just being conservative, not wanting to give the Colts too much to work with. Because the offense has been very conservative and there's been very little about what Shanahan has done in his time in Denver that says 'conservative'.

We'll get to see next week. I hope its televised here. Should be a great game.

Edit : Denver favored by 2 1/2 over Indy, wow.

All the hype around Romo' date=' and he throws a pick.[/quote']

Funny stuff right there. Especially after that reaction to him coming into the game by the crowd.
