No, I'll save that sentiment for DelRio. The f***er gave a bunch of Fred Taylor's touches to Jones-Drew, who had a big game. I started Taylor because of Indy's weak run-D, which turned out to be a good move, only J-D got the bulk of the yards and Leftwich the only rushing TD. I sat Shaun Alexander because of his foot and the NYG run-D. Of course, Eli throws a pick and they have 1st and goal, you know who stuffs it in.

Hopefully the Jets can steal a game from the Colts or Jaguars in their next two, and then take care of Miami, Detroit and Cleveland going into the Bye.

All I can say is WOW.

The reasons were justified, and the reasons for doing it are what happend. Indy got trampled by the Jags running game, but Taylor got fewer touches than I envisioned. The G-Men have been good against the run with Alexander's TD only coming after the turnover put them on the doorstep. I'm sure you had your reasons for sitting Westbrook who's having a monster game.

A. I'll still beat you without westbrook and I benched him because he was Questionable and a gametime decision.

B. Shaun Alexander, however, was NOT a gametime decision. They said he would play on Friday. You never bench one of the best players in the game unless they're injured or in a bye week.

Also, you can make a poll of the more valuable member of talksox. Sure, you have more posts but quality>quantity.

First off Alexander isnt even having a great game. 47 yards and a TD.. without the TD (which arguably shouldnt have been one because I believe that was off a Giants turnover) he would be s*** this game, so he doesnt look as stupid as your making him out to be.

Second off, did you just call your posts quality? HAHA. I'm assuming it was a joke, because if it was, it was a pretty funny one.

Make it, and make it with quality in bold-caps. I dare you.

You can if you want to.

No, you brought it up, it was your idea, you need to own it. If you don't, that's even worse than if you make it and lose because you will have chickened out and put your foot in your mouth.

I'll bet the point differential from Taylor to Alexander isn't a big of a dropoff between Westbrook and the other running back.

By the way, Westbrook was declared ready to play at 12:00 PM EST.

Chris Simms taken to a hospital with a ruptured spleen. Should miss a long time. :(

That's too bad. I really like Chris Simms.

Who do the Bucs go to? Gradkowski or Rattay?

Gradkowski' date=' then Brady Quinn.[/quote']

WDAE has a lot of chatter about Shawn King going on right now. The horror. The horror.

Gradkowski played at Toledo. You're thinking of Dan Orlovsky.

He wasn't terrible back in 2000. Though to be honest, Shaun King was one of my favorite QB's. He was the first football jersey I ever owned.

I still remember that play he made against the Rams on Monday night football. Dunn gets stuffed in the backfield, laterals to King, and he runs for a first down on fourth and 10. Bucs end up winning 38-35. The best coach in franchise history was also watching from the sidelines as well.

Oh, the good times. It would be nice to bring back some nostalgia, but it in all reality, I see Gradkowski getting all the starts.

What a great bet..after the games were already played. I wish bets worked that way.

And I'm sorry I have a life and I wasn't home on the computer between 12 and 1.

Westbrook was playing the 49ers, and was already ready to go. It takes a little bit of research to check that. He also had that same injury last week, and scored 20 points.

Weak.

It took me about five seconds to read on the NFL.com webpage that Westbrook was in. Also, FOX NFL Sunday stated the same thing.

Besides, you're telling me I have no life because I was watching football on a Sunday afternoon? Did you watch any of the games? If you did, then by your own definition of having a life, you have none either.

Yeah...5 seconds during the period between 12:00 and 1:00. I wasn't home during that time, I'm not on the computer every minute of my life...and hell yeah, I watch football on Sundays. That's not what I was trying to imply.

I'd be compelled to defend myself if I was remotely insulted, but this is too weak.

It actually is quite amazing how it always happens to players on the cover.

Well, Ray Lewis played in 15 games the year he was on it and had yet another great year. I saw a graphic about it on ESPN. It listed all the players and what happened to them that year... for Ray Lewis it said "missed pro bowl". Sounds like a stretch, to me.
