We beat Halladay and Lilly (our nemesis) with starter by committee and the KC reject and no Manny or Ortiz. You just can't figure out this game.

Well, that's still bad enough to warrant a shut down for the rest of the year if you ask me. Two saves to the rookie record? Not at the possible expense.

I am sure that they will give him a full battery of tests and not let him pick up a ball for a few days. He said it felt better in the clubhouse after the game. Who the hell knows. I don't think anyone has clue yet.

I really have to give the guys on the team all the credit in the world, considering all of the bad news that has been piled on as of late. Not to mention that the games being played aren’t part of a playoff race. For the likes of Kyle Snyder to pitch probably the best game of his career and to focus on the game at hand and rise above all of the adversity. I don’t think I’ve ever been more proud to be a Red Sox fan than right now.
