You are such a bogus hot air balloon. None of the lineups in these links was the same lineup as the Day in question against the Yankees. This is bogus evidence.

Let me reiterate for the learning impaired, I made my comments in the context of a yankee game where Unit pitched. I didn't like the Indian line-up that day. My comments were not meant as an overall indictment of Cleveland's offense. You seem intent on proving that was my intent was to attack Cleveland's offense by showing that they had fielded their regular lineup that day. If you want to pursue that, please present evidence that supports your case. Tell me how many times the Guardians fielded that exact lineup this year. These links are bogus BS. Here is the lineup on that day. How many times did the Guardians field this lineup 1 though 9 in this order. Put up or shut up. No more phony evidence.

Holy s***. You're reaching like hell. Those same nine players were in the lineup (save for Blake). What does it matter where they were hitting? It's not like Wedge went nuts and batted Sizemore ninth, and Boone first.

The Indian offense was still SECOND in MLB in runs scored. Are you incapable of saying "Gee, maybe I am wrong?"

You make Donald Trump look like Mother Teresa.

(BTW, moving Peralta out of the three hole, made the Indian offense BETTER then they were at the beginning of the year.)

The Guardians platooned Broussard and Perez regularly. Don't believe it, go through the game logs. That was their regular lineup vs. LHP, and their best one. And, since the trade for Choo, the M's have regularly put Perez into the lineup (HR off Lester, and he played when Wells pitched). The guy mashes LHP, always has.

What adjustments could the Guardians have possibly made, to make that lineup better? Remove Perez? Bat someone one spot higher? C'mon, be honest, you didn't know the personal, so in an attempt to discredit Randy Johnson, you said the Guardians offense sucked.

No more ********. You're really making yourself look bad.

BTW guys, anyone who disagrees with a700hitter is learning impaired. Read his first sentence.

How is it that you people are just picking up on this?

The order of the lineup doesn't matter. Hmmm. Why doesn't the manager just hand in a lineup with 9 names in fielding postion order. The sequence does matter, fool. We spend countless hours arguing about whether Tek should be in the 5-hole etc. You are making a federal case about a team that I don't even care about. You are arguing irelevancies my friend. I really don't give a s*** avbout this, and I don't know what point you are trying to make. I didn't like that days lineup. How many times did that lineup get fielded in that sequence? You can't even win your own irelevant arguments. Go back to school.

You're so full of s***.

If you don't care about this why do you keep responding? Everyone on this board seems to think you lost. Take comfort in the fact that you keep making outlandish claims, in a desperate attempt that one of them might stick.

Seriously, fielding positions is relevant to batting order? Wow. Way off.

Going back to your orginal statement, you said you hated the fact that Perez and Michaels were batting 2 and 5 respectively. Those two often batted there all year. Perez was finally inserted to the five hole because of Peralta's ineffectiveness. So, basically, moving Peralta out of the three hole, made the offense better.

The lineup as a whole didn't change. The personal was still there. You didn't know them, so they suck. It's really pathetic that you keep thinking you're right.

BTW, since I'm always wrong, how do you spell the guy's name in your avatar? Wasn't it L-U-K-A?

I corrected the spelling to the English/americanized version L-U-C-A. L-U-K-A is, I believe, the way it is spelled in Italian and other languages. Isn't it enough to be the self-proclaimed expert in English grammar etc.? You also need to prove a mastery of the romance languages as well. Pompous Ass!

BTW: You have engaged in another irrelevancy. You have a real problem staying on topic. What the hell was the original point you were arguing?

The point is, you made a statement that I have the uncanny ability of being wrong all the time. Please try to keep up.

Don't bother responding, 700hitter. You're clearly incapable of saying you're wrong. I think everyone else knows that as well. You know how many PM's I've gotten from people telling me "Good job?"

Quite frankly, I'm tired of talking to a wall. I'll try to see how effective this ignore list is.

I keep responding to Yank your chain. If my recollection is correct, I believe that I admitted months ago that i didn't know how good Perez was against lefties. I gave in on this along time ago. You continue to beat this dead horse, because of your argumentative nature. I didn't bring up the Guardians today. I ackowledged my lack of knowledge about the Guardians along time ago. But my comments were about that days lineup. You can blow it up into a whole big me vs. Cleveland thing, but it's not. However, I have enjoyed the back and forth with a pompous ass like yourself. I find it interesting that the only two things that you guys can attack me about are a post that I made about the Cleveland Guardians in June and a post about Adam Kennedy. Who is reaching?

In the meantime, you guys hate for me to bring up:

Johnny Damon (I continue to be right)

Pedro (Enjoy watching the Master in the Post-Season)

and more recently:

Abreu/Lidle (If the deal was made by the Sox the roles of the Yankees and Sox would be reversed).

Lack of any moves at the trading deadline.

Theo's string of questionable and unsuccessful moves

Comments about the rokkies unless glowingly positive

Alright, I've held my tounge long enough...you guys are bickering like little girls.

Who gives a s*** if you have different opinions on players and what not...that's the beauty of the game of baseball. It can be left up to debate and discussion. That's all fine and good, that's what this board is about, but resorting to personal attacks on one another is just plain immature, not to mention annoying for the other people on board.

700Hitter can be very stuck on his beliefs at times and is reluctant to say when he's wrong. So what? We can all be stubborn at times but he does raise good points often.

CrespoBlows...I understand your frustration; dealing with stubborn people is very aggravating. I AM stubborn, and I HAVE argued with stubborn people, I know where you're coming from. But in fairness to him, he's not telling you what to believe, so continue thinking what you want to think and letting him do the same. There's no reason this should have escalated into this.

Fact of the matter is, frustration is boiling over on all of our parts because the Sox are s***ing the bed. Look on the bright side, at least they tanked early this year rather than waiting to break our hearts at the end.

If you do know your faults, then why do you continue to be such a pompous ass. Last night we had to endure an interminable string of posts from you about grammar. Really, what could be less relevant.

BTW: I am glad that you have hit the ignore button. But you are full of it on that too. You can't help yourself. You'll be back too soon for my taste to argue with me about some irrelevancy while misconstruing my opinions and misrepresenting my posts.

BTW: I knew that you would cry uncle first. Have a pleasant evening. Oh, I forgot, you can't see my posts. Well, the sentiment was there even if you were not.;)

Not that it matters all that much, but when I see someone who posts with poor grammar, I ususally don't value their posts as much as someone with excellent grammar.

But would you carry on about it for pages of posts?
Posted
No, I wouldn't say anything, but I still find it relevant.
But it's really not a relevant topic to post about. Would any click on a thread called "Argument about grammar"? I would n't.

It started about Pedroia and evolved from there.
Yes, it all started with my post about Pedroia. From there CrespoBlows sought to invalidate my opinion about Pedroia by bringing up a post that I made in June after the Yankees beat Cleveland, and a post during an Angel game about Kendrick and Kennedy. The relevance to Pedroia is...? I guess Crespoblows meant to demonstrate, from these two posts and the fact that I originally used the European spelling LUKA in my avatar, that I know absolutely nothing about baseball.:dunno:

Before I log out for the evening, I apologize to the members that visited this thread for the irrelevant bickering and arguing that dominated this thread. While I don't believe that I initiated the nonsense, I sincerely apologize for my role in the ugliness. I hate when others ruin a thread with nonsensical bickering. I apologize for my contributions to ruining this thread. Good night.

Another day another loss. Man just 2 weeks ago the Sox were one game back of New York now they have lost 11 of their last 14 games. I really hope that the Sox can snap out of this streak and get into the playoffs it's going to be hard to do have to get ahead of either the White Sox and Twins to get into top spot in the A.L Wildcard race seeing as how neither of those two teams are going to even come close to catching the Tigers. I have faith that the boys can pull it off and make it.

The Sox have as good a chance of making the playoffs as you and I do.
