Nice work by Foulke. Hopefully, he is becoming reliable again and Paps dominated Cabrera getting the k for the 3rd out.

BTW: I am watching Fox and their gun had Timlin at 93 and Lester at 87-88. That sounds about right to me.

I guess that's some luck too. I think I was busy trying to give myself a blowjob out of boredom with this team.

(actually, I'm traveling across country and my wife and I were at Hooters until the end of the game!)(btw, hooters sucks).

Yeah, they don't have it for the food.

The sox seem to have about 4-5 guys on this team who look like/act like they want to win on a consistent basis. Papelbon has, from game 1 this year, been the chief of those guys.

Ortiz has game after game done everything he can, like Paps, to give this team a chance to win. Ortiz is right up there with Paps.

Yes, goes without saying. I would add Schilling to the list, Beckett (although his performance has been lackluster at best) and probably Youkilis. Other than that.. yawn... I can't think of anyone.

I would say the vlad at bat is the entire game. He gets on and its trouble, if he goes it will be double. wait, if he's out it would be GOOD, yes, good. Not double.

Youkilis, yes, Schilling, yes, and you're right about Beckett. As much as he's been sucking, it's CLEAR that he still wants to win.

Manny showed me that he cares about winning last night. In the 9th there was the questionable call at first base. It looked like the fielder's foot came off the bag, but the ump called Loretta out. Manny was on the top step of the dugout giving it to the first base ump. He was pretty pissed. It showed me that he is frustrated by the losing streak.

Kyle Snyder was also heated too.
