great to see Wells establishing himself as a reliable starter again for Boston. His last 3 starts, he has allowed 6 ER

 

Coco... I do believe since the All-Star break we have seen the player that we expected to show up from day 1. Leadoff spot is his until otherwise. Hey he got that big hit too

If only Wells did not get hurt with the linedrive off the knee we would have been getting solid outings from the last 2 months from him.

Yeah Wells has been really good in his last few starts, he's been a #2 lately, but if Johnson can just keep us in the game, and Beckett and Lester can just give us what they should, hopefully we can make a run with that. What's the estimated time on Wakefield's return.
