There should be a stat that gives the ratio of runs scored that were walks compared to runs scored that were hits. That would be a cool stat.

That's two straight ABs that would have been GIDPs for Thome if they hadn't shifted against him. With a runner on 1B, I think you have to set your IF up for a DP.

He's pitched well. He's also been hurt by defensive alignment. In both innings, he's not facing sacks full situations with a smart defensive alignment.

if Lester can get ahead in the count, the batter is not going to get on base, but when he gets to 2-0, he has to play catch up and it doesn't work as well because he is afraid to throw a great curveball
