It says that he was pitching with one last year and this year suffered from a back spasm. According to GM Wayne Krivsky, Guardado will become the Reds closer.

Well, he is an ex-Mariner now, so be prepared for a all-star game appearance from him next year, and maybe a cy young.

 

I hope this Chick guy turns out to be good.

Eddie Guardado could be pitching on one leg and he'd be better than anybody else in Cincy's bullpen.
