Federer clinches year end #1 for the 5th time ( 1 behind Samprass ) and will most likely pass Pete's mark a weeks at number 1 next year

but yet according to Rhet , Nadal is better than Federer

Feds made all four grand slam finals this year, could he do the same this year? If Nadal is hurt and misses the French this year or is rusty coming back, Federer could win it again. At Wimbledon last year, Roddick had the match of his life and couldn't beat Roger. Feds just doesn't lose on grass to other than anyone named Nadal. He lost in the U.S. Open Finals last year to Del Potro, I really don't see how Feds could win the Grand Slam this year, but I think he'll get at least another one this year.

he was only 2 sets away of doing it last year . with Nadal struggling with injuries he'll have a great shot at winning the french again .

if he can find a way to win the french again he'll be very motivated to complete the calendar slam

Here's a great story

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/08/nicholas-newlife-bets-on_n_490859.html

A few years back, Nicholas Newlife of Kidlington (near Oxford) placed a bet of ?275 (that's Euros) -- he wagered that tennis superstar Roger Federer would win 14 Grand Slam titles before 2020. The odds against were 66 to 1.

Well, it happened, and Newlife won ?18,500 (equal to roughly $25,000). Federer won his 14th grand slam on June 7, 2009. Unfortunately, Newlife has recently died and was unable to collect his winnings. But, then something unexpected happened. Newlife stipulated in his will that all subsequent gambling winnings were to go to Oxfam International, a prominent organization that seeks to end poverty and injustice.

Oxfam could stand to win a great deal more money, should one of Newlife's final bets come through. He wagered well before his death that Federer would win the Wimbledon tournament seven times before 2020. He's already won six times -- taking the tournament each year since 2003, except for 2008, when he lost to Spaniard Rafael Nadal. If Federer wins Wimbledon this July (or any other time in the next 10 years), Oxfam will win ?112,580 (about $153,000 at current exchange rates).

I'm pulling for Nadal as usual. GO Rafa!

NOOOOOOOO

If Nadal wins it , he regains # 1 and will stop Roger from passing Pete's 286 weeks at number 1 mark

YEEESSSS! Not a Roger fan, but my mom is. Roger will pass Pete in more important categories for sure.
