Wimbledon is almost over

 

The mens game is awesome right now. Federer, Bjorkman, Baghdatis, and Nadal/Nieminem in the semis. I'd blow a load for a Federer/Nadal final, because Federer needs to beat this kid sometime.

 

Womens game is even better. Top 4 seeds in the semis. Oh fun. YAWN. Though I did enjoy that Dementieva/Sharapova match A LOT.

He's pretty much the most dominant tennis player I have ever seen even better than Sampras was. He will easily win more majors than Sampras being as young as he is and as dominant of a player he is.

He probably will, especially if he can get a Roland Garros title or two. I dont see Federer losing Wimbledon for another 5-10 years to be honest with you.

 

Also count me in as one of the people who are pissed that theyre showing this s***** womens semi-final over Nadal/Nieminem.

Nadal up 2 sets right now. Cliff Drysdale said it best: "With each swing, Nadal is looking better and better on grass." And its true. The kid looked lost at Wimbledon last year and hes playing like hes been playing there for at least 10 years. The kid's topspin is ridiculously nasty, and after watching him play this match IMO he could maybe get a set against Roger.

 

And he wins easily 3 4 and 4. Plays Baghdatis tomorrow. Thats gonna be a great match.

It's over....Federer cruises easily into his 5th straight Wimbledon final with a 6-2, 6-0, 6-2 win over unseeded Jonas Bjorkman. Just give him the trophy now folks.

I just watched the first 2 sets of the Nadal/Baghdatis match, and Ive gotta say, holy s***, Nadal is a f***ing beast. If Roger wasnt around, we would probably be talking about Nadal the same way we talk about Roger, and he would probably be the one going for all the slams and not Roger.

 

But in all honestly, if Raffa takes Roger 5 sets, or even wins on Sunday, I wont be surprised in the least bit. This kids got all it takes, the skill, the shots, and the demeanor.

 

Save my prediction till Sunday morning.

Haha, I don't. I love Rog. Roger is my boy. I'd love to see a 5 set match tomorrow. Tomorrow morning 10 minutes before the match I will make my prediction. I'm not totally sure yet of a few things I need to mull over before doing so.

Screw tomorrow, it just came to me. Federer is taking this match in 4 sets. Im going with 2-6, 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 as a rough score prediction.

 

Sound familiar? French Open final. Federer demolishes Nadal in the first set on Nadal's surface. Then Nadal sets in and gets comfortable. I see that happening for Rog, I just can't see him losing on grass.
