Because he is on the road I assume he was waiting to use Fransworth in a save situation. However that does not excuse him from not using Dotel who needs to get into some ball games. Plus Wright was left into face Ichiro, he got a hit which started the rally that tied it at 5. He could have used Myers there instead of "using" him to IBB someone. Overall stupid job by Torre however the Sox lost so we can scratch another game off the schedule.

At this point in the season and with the lead we have I'm just counting down the games left.

I forgot where I heard it but from what I understand the Sox have to play near 700 baseball the rest of the way and the Yankees have to play slightly under 500 the rest of the way for them to catch us. With that easy schedule in SEPT I dont see us playing 500 baseball.

Ha Yankees lose 2 of 3 to Seattle. Classic let down series after the big sweep. They have to do the unthinkable and beat the Angels 2 of 3 so this series doesnt look that bad.

What was Damon thinking on that? He should have let the ball drop in front of him instead of sliding and the man would still be on first base instead of third. Fine by me though.

Another day another ass kicking by the Angels. I actually might just hate the Angels more then the Red Sox. It one thing to have people like Manny and Ortiz hit well against you but its another thing to watch Adam Kennedy dominate you or my new personal favorite Maicer Izturis. They are a terrible hitting team and a bad defensive team but the domination remains since 96.
