For those wondering why certain players, like Rod Carew, are included in the first basemen tournament, it's because they played most of their games at first base. That is also why Pete Rose was included in the OF tournament. Just to clear that up.

Bingo.

I felt the same way about the OF tournament and Willie Mays. It is appalling, but not entirely shocking, that he didn't make the top-3 by the members of this site. And, Pete Rose over Ty Cobb. Right.

Why Ernie Banks?

He played 1,259 career games at first base compared to 1,125 career games at SS, 69 games at 3B, and 23 games in the outfield. He'll be in the SS tourney too.

Yeah, I've always said Willie Mays is the greatest ALL-AROUND (I emphasize all-around because I really take a lot of s*** for that) player of all time, there's no way in hell he's not in the top 3 of outfield.

Off-Topic, but a follow up.

Ruffing is probably the least deserving pitcher in the HOF. He shouldn't make it out of the first round.

May I ask why he is undeserving, other than his ERA, his numbers are great

EDIT
