Potential T-Shirt design

Since it would be you guys who would get shirts, I figured I'd get some input here. This was just thrown together in 5 seconds as a preliminary design for the front of the shirt (either centered or above the pocket).

 

Also...any ideas for the back? Clever slogans/catchphrases anyone?

 

The font isnt definite, the logo isnt, nothing is. This is just a basic idea, again.

I think it's okay, as of now it lacks any spark or color, maybe make the the font to that of the red sox, and make it red? but the design is not bad. Also maybe change the bubble the sox design is in to navy blue, or something. Also, maybe put the "since 2004" under it more, and not to the lower-right, and include it in the sox font. If I can make any designs I'll post it.

I'd get rid of the bubble and the S and X and leave the socks. The bubble doesn't work as an O.

 

Or just have the bubble and Sox logo and Talksox.com in place of the "since 2004".

 

I wouldn't put "since 2004" on anything if you want any street cred.

I remember when I graduated HS, our Senior TShirt had everyone's name in small letters on the back. That'd be freaking AWESOME if we could do that...have any members with over a certain amount of posts or something listed there. Log-In names, of course.

 

I actually thought the whole speech bubble thing looked really cool. What color are we thinking?

The speech bubble reminds me of the sims. "Extraaaam et nam...."

 

And I'm afraid the member name thing is a bit too exclusive and tough to do. Maybe some other time we could do personalized shirts or something, but we'll see.

This is my favorite idea thus far...

 

I think Navy Blue would be awesome for the shirt color...and that speech bubble logo centered in the front, and the http://www.talksox.com on the back...where the last name would go on a jersey.

 

Computer graphics aren't my thing...but I'll see what I can dream up slogan-wise.

What about a Hall Of Fame forum? Like a list that's JUST for the comments that cause everyone to crack up in the game threads or whatever. We had a similar thing where I used to work...except it wasn't on the internet, it was on a peice of paper on the back of the bathroom door, and it wasn't cool s*** we said, it was dumb s*** the customers said...but it was sweet nonetheless.

Not only would the cost be prohibitive, the logistics would be horrendous. What we are trying to accomplish here is a Talksox logo. Once we have it designed, and have copy ready art work, we can produce it on just about anything. From t-shirts to coffee mugs. We also have to pick a type of shirt ( T short, baseball, pocket, etc. ) color, etc.

 

So concentrate on the logo / design.
