he, and loweel should replace their current eladers, both of whom are way more deserving then those currently assigend to the all-star game, and that's a totally unbiased opinion (in terms of yankees-sox)

Loretta definitely deserves to make the All-Star team this season. Not only is he batting .321, but he's doing so after switching leagues this past off-season. However, if Robinson Cano gets more votes and is not injured during the All-Star break, it's almost a lock that Ozzie Guillen will pick Iguchi over Loretta for the backup 2B position.

Why do you guys think Ozzie is going to pick all of his own players? Usually managers don't do that. Francona didn't and he is the biggest homer of all time.

Cano I believe will either be in the tail end of his DL stint of just off it. If I were him, I wouldn't play in the ASG, gives him more recovery time. But if he wants to, go ahead, get hurt.

I hope Loretta get's in but I have a feeling that Cano will get it. It's a wash offensivly but Loretta has the much better glove so he should be there. Ozzie will pick his own guy, he doesn't care what the rest of the media thinks!

Very deserving of a comeback year thus far has been reward to the under the radar player.

Master Yoda?

Cano is having a better year at the plate, and believe it or not, I think they are a wash defensively. Cano's hands aren't nearly as good, but his better range makes up for it.

If it's going to mean something, they ought to take the power out of the fans' hands. Mauer, Lowell, and Wells should be starting.

Sorry if I dont word my posts just right for you. Loretta ranks top fielding % for a 2nd baseman while comitting just 3 errors, Ca No-No is up to 7 errors

Cano has just 1 more HR than Loretta

Loretta has a 7 RBI edge over Cano

Besides, Cano wouldnt have made the All-Star game with his injury. Im not a fan who votes for every single player on their team, but yes I happily voted for Loretta

I know his F% is better, that is why I said he has better hands. However, Cano has better range, so he's probably gotten to at least 4 more balls than Loretta would have. Cano is about 1 run-created better (by VORP) than Loretta. The person really getting shafted is Brian Robers. He's 5 VORP runs better than Cano, and is beating him with a stick in the field.

Don't be so defensive about me critiquing your writing style. I meant no ill will by it, but I just thought it was worded funny, that is all.

Happy Loretta got in, but I wonder if Ozzie made Schilling wear lipstick.

Hammer, I've got to hand it you----you can find some humor in just about everything. For me Loretta's making the starting lineup hits very close to home since I know the guy personally, he played for the Senior Babe Ruth Team I founded in 1993, and grew up in the same town I live in. Of course, I knew he would be a great addition to our team this year even when he got off to a slow start. He has been a good example of why our team is doing so well thus far. Our infield may be all new this year but defensively it is the best in the league. :harhar: :dunno: :D
