Fox broadcast exclusivity expires at 5:00 pm. If NESN is covering the game, mlb.tv should be showing it. Send them a nasty message telling them to get their heads out of their asses. I did.

I've done this sooo many times it's not even funny. No game because that game (game 1) is on the national blackout list. Game 2 was wiped from my MLB tv once it was cancelled.

I'm out of here. I can't listen to it. I'll watch it at 2am tomorrow if I can.

MLB.TV and Extra Innings won't show it because they do not have the "rights" to. Maybe they'll pick it up at 8:00 PM

I'm pretty certain that MLB.TV and EI have rights to all non-Fox broadcasts since that is what they show. Fox exclusivity applies to all games scheduled before 5:00 pm EST. They aren't showing this game because they weren't prepared to show it. But I'm certain they do have rights to it since it started after 5:00.

That would be the normal case, but it's a catch.

Fox had the "rights" to broadcast the first game, and Extra Innings had the rights to only broadcast the second one. Which, in this case is 8:00 PM. Plus, only local FOX stations (Texas and Boston) are allowed to show the first game. If that makes any sense at all, which it doesn't.

That's the BS, I got from the Direct TV representive.

Chances are, you are correct.

Sorry, I shouldn't say chances, you are correct, but shouldn't this be relatively easy for them to pick it up?

The game is on NESN. If Fox had the rights, they'd air it, especially with the ratings Sox games get in New England.

EDIT: It should only be a matter of enabling the stream for mlb.tv and relaying the broadcast for EI. They have their heads straight up their poop shutes, and people should let them know it.

ESPN has exclusivity on games starting between 5 pm and 11 pm on Sundays, so yeah, we'll probably on get to see one of them (unless ESPN airs it on the deuce).
