I dunno Yeszir, you might get abused for being too politically incorrect with that picture! <_>

Good mojo, I like.

It's going to be a hell of a pitcher's duel, here's to hoping Beckett comes up big. Yankees? In the Bronx, too? No problem.

I say Sox win 4-2.

By the way, I was being sarcastic with the first line of my post if you couldn't tell.

I think if we win tonight, we've got a good shot at 3/4.

If we lose, we might have to work for a split.

So win tonight.

Just a couple comments:

I like the lineup adjustment to move Tek down and get him swinging again.

Ramirez is a beast against Mussina

Philips has been the key to the Yanks lineup with the injuries and we better hope Cano doesnt keep getting on against us

Me too. I’ve been questioning Tito’s insistence of batting him 5th or 6th now for weeks. Until his bat gets hot I’d keep him lower in the order. If Tek were in the NL, he would be a typical number 8 hitter IMO.

apparently there was a lineup out earlier today had jeter in it, then they came out with this linup later on with him scratched. I would imagine it's not that bad and he'll play tommorow.

when Nomar sat out the game against NY in 2004 and sox fans questioned his drive and passion

Thanks for making that so clear in your initial post.

Geez, i flipped on the 6pm sportscenter to see if they had anything useful about the game tonight (nothing of course). However the yank ballwashing has been taken to a new all-time high. The "yanks are so hurt, yet they are still the best" rants have gotten out of hand---this is acutally getting on par with the manning/dolts ballwashing:rolleyes: It's easier to listen to YES now than it is ESPN!

Yeah, I understood why it was used, but I didn't see the similarity.

Hmm, I thought it was refering to when Nomar was hit in the wrist and couldn't play for the rest of the year and also derailed a HOF career.

Not to be a Yankees ball washer but you do have to give Torre credit. You’d expect a team with that many injuries to key players to struggle. And they’ve done the exact opposite.

Red Sox fan: "ESPN IS SO BIASED TOWARDS THE YANKEES!"

Yankees fan: "ESPN? MORE LIKE NESNPN!!"

The whining gets old after awhile.
