You have my complete empathy. I used to work nights... and it got old. Thankfully, I no longer works nights. And MLB.com is wonderful thing.

A nice win to have. Clement was good and so was the rest of the team the bats were alive and Papelbon continued to dominate. I'll be surprised if he's not in the All Star game this year.

good point that i havn't heard yet. Papelbon absolutely should be and will be in the All-Star game. He might be the sox only representative, unless Lowell and Ortiz get in.

yeah when im home i can watch mlb tv but when im at working im stuck watching the cubs who are doing horrible or the white sox who i could really care less about :sleep: so its really boring

Ortiz yet again hits an nother homerun (14):thumbsup: in friday nights game vs the phillies the sox end up winning 5 to 3 and there was also an homerun by Lowell (5) and Varitek (45 9th inning the sox put pabalon in to pitch for his 16th save and he still is perfect

Lowell should make it, but E-rod will probably get all the votes to play 3rd. Theres also Hank Blalock, Troy Glaus, Eric Chavez, Melvin Mora and Joe Crede all having pretty good years.

 

Manny probably will get in, but wont deserve it as theres alot of OF playing better than he is.

 

What about the possibility Timlin makes it as a set-up guy? Didn't Gordon and Duscheser make it last year?
