This was a hard contest to judge, as there were many good entries. After reading all the posts several times, I made a list of the best ones. I then had a random drawing to determine the winners. Remember, this is a "surprise" contest. So yes, I did say winners. So, here they are :

As corny as this is going to sound guys...I've posted on a lot of different Sox web boards and discussion forums and what not, and everyone here is tops. Yea, we've had some idiots, but we've gotten rid of them and we're left with a solid core of people. Everything from the intelligent baseball discussions to the outpouring of sympathy whenever a member has something serious going on in their lives...you people are the best. As one of the newer members here, I'm happy I found this place, plan to stay a while, and hope you all do the same. :thumbsup:

When I ordered them, I ordered Med. Large, & XL. It was a spur of the moment thing to go wioth the ticket giveaway contests( Fenway, NY, & FL. ). I doubt I have anything that would fit you. I'm trying to get someone from the site to come up with some art, so that I can have an official Talksox T-shirt. But I'll take a look.

Ive never gone to a game on my own bill, so all of a sudden I'm concerned about money. Lets just say I'm cash strapped and keep it at that. Where would be the best place to park, or would public transportation be a better option?

Public transportation. Unless you wanna pay, at the MINIMUM, about 50 bucks to park in a lot, then there aren't really any other options unless you park a mile or 2 away and walk.

If you're going to spend ANYTHING at all at the park...make it $9 for a steak tip sammy with peppers and onions...you won't regret it. Otherwise, take the T in to North Station and then get on the greenline to Fenway. It'll probably cost you like $6 round trip depending on where you're coming from. You're sure to have a great time, but don't plan on getting anything inside Fenway if you're trying to keep the cash to a minimum.

Haha, I wasnt planning on getting anything in the park. Last time I was there it was like 450 for a coke. Thats ridiculous.

yeah definitely take the t, its close and theres practically no parking available within 90 minutes of gametime.

but if you can, sneak a water bottle in there too, if you bring a jacket with big pockets put it in, cause they check bags. the advantage of a water bottle also is that there are water fountains so you can refill it constantly...5 dollars less than a 16 oz bottle would cost.
