sox won' date=' holy crap yankees are tied...9-0 after 2, and its tied.[/quote']

Not anymore, Texas just scored one off Rivera, 2nd and 3rd with 1-out.....

Anyone wondering why schilling has been so flat once he gets around to the 5th inning lately? And it wasn't the 133 pitches that did it. It was starting before then. I don't get it, his ankle isn't an issue, he seems like he is just hitting way too much of the plate for some reason.

Otsuka is a quality pitcher who got beaten by a quality hitter. Stop refusing to give the yankees any credit by saying how bad rangers pitching is.

Hey guess what. When you blow a 9-0 a lead, your pitching is not very good.

Honestly, we have gone through some horrible times as Red Sox fans. But with the Rangers, they have the same problem every year (pitching). Texas may never have a good pitching staff.

face it he hasent been that great in any situation
He'll turn it on, this is his yearly thing he does. BTW, he has been solid in save sits, only blowing one. Mo dominates the dog days of summer and the fall months. April and May are his usual times of struggle....

I will say, though: Congrats, Yankee fans. No matter how bad a teams pitching staff is, to come back from 10-1 (or 9-0) is unbelievable. I watched the game, and that was probably the most entertaining game I've seen this year. Nice win for New York.

Last time the Yanks came back from 9 runs down it was against the Red Sox.

The Yankees overcame a nine-run deficit for the fourth time in their storied history. The last time they did it was a 12-11 win in 10 innings against the rival Red Sox on June 26, 1987. Boston's starter in that one was Roger Clemens.

I'm quoting this because a post like this will NEVER be seen again from this man

Tonight was one of the most intense games I have seen in awhile. Schilling just can't seem to keep away from giving up the long ball but the bats just keep on bailing him outta trouble. Dissapointing to see Varitek go 0-4 tonight after he reached base in every at bat last night and had a HR. Papelbon continues to show that he is by far the most underated pitching in the league. He's been lights out all year and isn't getting the credit he really deserves.

As for the Rangers/Yankees game that was just awful how do u blow a 9-0 lead and then a 10-2 lead and loose 14-12. Texas needs to trade the entire pitching staff they were just horrible tonight. Haven't seen a worse preformance in awhile.
