Big question, put Proctor in, let Farnsworth pitch on consecutive days, or let Sturtze pitch the eight?

Farns. It is his job, we dont take it from him...

Remember that hypothetical sitaution you brought up earlier, about being able to pitch for the D-Rays without an arm? Yeah, well, I'd rather have that person pitch in the 8th than Sturtze.

When the standings are close

and the games near to end

Your starter's shut down

Who do you send?

Tanyon!

Tanyon!

Every power hitter

in the greater Northeast

Knows exactly on which pitcher

Theyd like to feast!

Tanyon!

Is their man.

A meek one run lead

Two on and two out

Joe has to give

The bullpen a shout

Tanyon!

Tanyon!

Yanks fans from Brooklyn

To Anahiem cry

Why us!? Why now!?

Give Farnsworth a try!

Taynon!

Taynon!

Hes not their man

Loved by the masses

(Especially Rays fans)

Were sure hell shape up

one of these days, fans.

Because hey, even though

Youve got Tanyon Sturtze

Just think of the Royals

It could be worse.

Tanyon!

Sturtze!

It could...be....worse!

I'm not surprised, the Yankees are going to do this ALL year. They will destroy these teams.

They will destroy most teams. This offense is scary, and the fact is, ARod hasnt hit at all yet and Matsui is just starting to hit. Once everyone gets going on all cylinders, we'll be tough. We gotta get Randy going though. He looks great at times, then just has a brain fart and leaves one down the middle....

At what point to Yanks fans realize that Johnson just doesn't have it anymore?

Thats the thing. He is kinda like Beckett to this point. Still has great stuff, just is having a little trouble keeping it out of the middle of the plate...

No, this is probably what it's going to look like all year. 10-9, 15-3 kind of wins. Any team with something called a "pitching staff" (that's actually a marvelous thing, you see) can handle the Yankees.

Definitely agree with that.....The Yanks will destroy teams with no pitching. Teams with good starting pitching will be able to handle the Yankees lineup. Very interested to see the White Sox starters against the Yankees lineup.

I didn't want to have to do this...

BTW, Scott Proctor has been f***ing amazing. His stuff is absolutely nasty and he is finally putting it together....

I too have been pleasantly surprised with Proctor. Don't forget Dotel will be back in a few weeks. Our bullpen will be pretty solid then...

I agree, it looks like he is putting it together. Hes finally able to locate the breaking ball much better then he has been able to do in the past.

You just gave me 26 reasons to hate you.

Scott Proctor will never have an ERA at 1.60 the whole year. (His control still isn't there)

Tanyon Sturtze (no explanation needed)

Randy Johnson looks merely average.

Shawn Chacon tries to walk as much batters as he strikes out.

Aaron Small was an aberration, if his ERA is under 5.00, Hell will seriously freeze over.

Villone's never been good, I can't see how his ERA will stay that low.

Same goes with the Moose, his ERA will rise. (Though he could have a 3.20 ERA by year's end)

Wang, can't strike anyone out, and when he can't throw his sinker, he's terrible.

Oh, and Jaret Wright.

Dotel could be OK though.

In conclusion, if you ask any baseball expert, they'll tell you the Red Sox pitching staff is better. You can't actually expect the Yankees pitching staff to keep up that status quo, do you? If you do, that's total bias on your behalf.
