Do you think that Bronson Arroyo makes the All Star Team? The NL team that is, unless Theo works more magic and gets him back too :)

I say he would start if it wasn't for Maddux right now.

If he continues to pitch this way, then he makes it no problem. I don't know about starting but he will make it---mabey even hit a HR in it!

I voted no. Eventually he'll forget how to locate his fastball, again. He's a flash in the pan just like the Reds.

I was also the other No vote. Arroyo doesn't just turn into an All-star pitcher overnight. He started off strong last year too and quickly came back to earth and besides the Reds are playing way above their heads right now and that is unlikely to keep up.

yea i am waiting for the vintage reds to show up. once nl hitters begin to face him for the second or third times, hopefully they will be smart enough, and realize to jump on his fastball. but if his numbers hold up, he will be in the all star game. probably not the starter, as someone mentioned earlier cuse mad dog maddux is having a career season, and that is saying a lot for that man.

Also the first time around the NL he's going to have some success because these hitters haven't seen him in 4 years, or at all. The second time through they'll find out he's a very predictable pitcher who relies too heavily on his curveball, and cannot consistently locate his fastball.

I agree with this, but he was great (undefeated?) until he was suspended. In Cincy however, he is "the star", not so in Boston. Also, the Sox have a long history of trading All Stars (I remember the Sparky Lyle for Danny Cater deal.) This could be just the thing for Arroyo's future.

No question, the Reds are going to fall. Just like Baltimore last year. (Full disclosure, I'm a Cub fan too - Love Wrigley and, until 2004, liked my misery each fall in both leagues!) Arroryo can lose 20 in Cincy, but still have All Star stats if he pitches well. I don't think the team matters much in this area.

id say no ,the only reason he is succesfull right now ,he hasent been in the national league for 4 years ,they will eventually get around him and hit him hard
