YEAH!!! This is the best news I've heard all day....I just ran to tell one of my fellow teachers and we both screamed like school girls (I'm sure the kids think we've finally gone over the deep end!)!!!

I am SO damn happy Mirabelli is back! I can't wait to see the crowd's reaction tonight!!

This is awesome! i'm really excited that dougie is back in town. Bard was awful and now he's gone! this brightens my day, the only thing better would be if the sox take out the trash tonight

Not to mention, he seems to hit well against the Yankees. ;)

 

That he is :D , a .291 career hitter against NY to be exact

 

I was at opening day of last year against the Yankees, Mirabelli's first HR of the season helped the 8-1 win.

 

Then I attended the last game of the season (also against Yankees), his pinch hit 3 Run HR sealed the deal of a 10-1 win. At that time it was his last game & HR as a Red Sox, that of course is changed now. Dougie lets see that jerky power swing connect one over the green monster

espn.com reports that Tek will catch for Wake tonight because Mirabelli's flight isn't scheduled to arrive on time?

And they report that the Yanks tried to get Dougie so the Red Sox wouldn't...are they scared?
