Did you see this?

Hanley Ramírez is a baseball player in the Florida Marlins organization whose position is shortstop. He was born on December 23, 1983 in Samana in the Dominican Republic, and currently resides in Santo Domingo.

After joining the Boston Red Sox during Spring Training in 2005, Ramirez played for their Double-A affiliate the Portland Sea Dogs for the majority of the season. Ramírez was considered one of the top-rated prospects in the Red Sox organization before being traded to the Marlins on November 21, 2005 for SP Josh Beckett, RP Guillermo Mota, and 3B Mike Lowell. That deal also sent relief pitchers Anibal Sanchez, Jesús Delgado and Harvey García to Florida.

He spent most of the 2004 and 2005 seasons with Double-A Portland. In 2004 in Portland he hit .310, with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases in 32 games. 2005 saw a reduction in batting average from Ramírez, but overall he still had excellent offensive production and was called up to the major leagues in September of 2005.

His first major league at bat was a strikeout on September 20, 2005 against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

During Spring Training in 2006, Ramirez was impressive enough to earn the starting shortstop job for the Marlins. OBTW Hanley is h0tt he has great hair and a tight ass. wow.

From Missin Caberra over at Wikipedia.

Ehh, what did you really expect from Wells? He SUCKED last year over his first 4 starts. On the bright side the bullpen held a good offense to 1 run over the last 4 2/3 innings. Pena jacked 2, well, 1 but that first one should have counted for something. Seanez didn't suck and Tavaras is back tomorrow, Lenny did ok too.

I can live with this.

Personally, I see Wells retiring by the All Star break and Lester in there for the second half.

Tough loss tonight.....Wells certainly showed he was not ready to come back and could have used another start in Pawtucket. Sox had there opportunities to get to Chacin and didn't but thats baseball and there is a game tomorrow so its a fresh start.

Time to update that sig, TMIMM!

I was pleasantly surprised, good game by Wily Mo! I was very happy to see him taking pitches, maybe Papa Jack/Papi/Manny are teaching him a thing or two. And that home run was unbelievable. I don't think even Arroyo could hit one that hard.

Wells really couldn't get it done tonight the Jays jumped all over him. He really doesn't look like he's ready to come back into the rotation and pitch again. He got ruffed up in his rehab start and again tonight. The only bright spots of the game were Mohr and Pena who showed they have Longball potential. Hope Clement gives us a strong start tommorow and the Sox can bounce back from this one.

Youk was disappointing tonight, but we got some good signs from Mohr and Pena.

Youk may have been disapointing at the plate, but he was money in the field! He made some great scoops at 1st last night, and is looking like he has played there for years!

I have said all along that the fatman needs to go---i think he is still on his "small salary but big money for every start" contract, and that's why he rushed coming back and made a stink about the dl stint. I hope he can get better, but if he can't, let's sit him down now!

he's having a hell of a 2 days that somehow erases 6 consecutive poor performances. Lets see how he is over the full season. He still isnt showing the power....

6 consecutive poor performances? Havent really been following his stats for this season then
