Man I love waking up with the kids going out to do something with them. Then they go play and I sit around and watch a day game. Just the noise of the game in the background makes life better!

 

That's why I absolutely love Love LOVE Patriots day. I always take the day off. You wake up at 10 am and have about an hour to read the papers, tune in to eei and chug your coffee. Then at 11 it's game on! You get the day game, the marathon, the Missing Man formation jets. A pizza (for me). And you are trashed by 2pm!!!!!!

 

Such a sweet day. It might be my most favorite day of the year as it always falls on a Monday (as opposed to the Fenway home opener which could fall on any day) so it makes it a three day weekend. Ahhhh. I can't wait.

The Red Sox don't make the schedule and Texas was supposed to be good this year. You guys have a gift series for a home opener in KC while we have to play Toronto. Each team will have its scheduling woes and benefits.

I've gotta say how many times last year where we in situations like this and didn't play any kind of small ball? How many times did you yell at the TV? This is baseball!

Most analysts also picked the brewers to finish last, ignoring their roster. Most analysts picekd the Jays to finish second based on a lousy spending spree. Most analysts also picked the Yankees to win the world series. See, analysts don't know everything.

 

Texas is a very good ball club, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish second in that division. They've got a good lineup and an underrated staff even without Eaton. Cordero is as good a closer as you can get too. The sox aren't winning because they're playing bad teams. They're winning because they've got a couple of aces, good D, and a solid pen.

Nice to see the Canadian kid drive in the go ahead run and Wakefield and Bard have worked well together today. Alot better than what we saw the last time these two go together. lol. Gonzo walks baseloaded let's go Stern do what you did last time.
