WMP is on the roster for a reason. Trot sucks vs. lefties, Stern can play the field. Let's use our head now Tito.

It must be opening day. Tito basing has begun, the two seasons go hand in hand

Nothing like getting home from practice and seeing the Red Sox up 5-2, and just in time for what could have been a huge inning had Gonzalez not had that base running screw up.

I'm only listening on the radio, but:

Schilling seems solid, despite giving up 2 last inning. He's comfortable in the mid-90's and has covered 1st pretty well.

Coco is making some nice plays in the field and has been running the bases really well.

I'm not bashing him. I think he's a little reacitve, whereas I tend to be proactive. Just a difference of opinion.

What a great start by Schilling, to me thats the best he has looked since Game 6. The Velocity was good the control was good, threw 115+ pitches, this is so encouriging

I think I called it. He'll gut it out for opening day, but he'll be .500 by the end of the month. He was about as impressive as the rangers batters were pathetic....

Yeah, and Lowell was cooked too according to you. Credibility - DENIED!

Maybe you didn't watch the game, but he didn't have to gut it out. He was hitting 93-94 every inning with tremendous command. They were eating out of his hand. It looked like he could've thrown all day. Your hopes for his failure will be dashed. Too bad.

You must have missed his antics two or so months ago. First, it was Schilling is cooked because his leg won't recover and he'll be a high-80's pitcher. Then, it was he'll come out of the gate strong but falter later after ST reports said his leg was strong and velocity looked good. Next, when/if Schilling is going strong by mid-May, it will be, "He won't have the gas for the 2nd half." If he does, it will be, "He'll crap out in the playoffs." What the heck am I doing, Hey Riv, I just wrote your next 4 months of material. Might as well not bother showing up.
