That was a pretty good inning where they scored 3. Nice hitting and moving runners over and everything. Ginter also looked pretty good from what I saw of him (i'm switching between the Red Sox game and the White Sox game, so I havent really been able to focus completely on the game).

 

I thought it was pretty funny when the media was asking Arroyo if he was disappointed with his performance and everything

 

like c'mon, its his first start in Spring Training, I doubt he's going to lose sleep over it.

I like how Machado is looking today. Had a clutch 2 run single which came in the 5-run 5th inning, and has been playing some great defense

Haha, it was in spring training. It wasnt clutch. It was just a nice hit. Save clutch for the reg. season when someone gets a 2 out RBI single to win the game for us.

This kid Murphy still doesn't impress me. A very small percentage of prospects ever have an impact at the ML level. Prospects are good trading chips, but most are nothing more than that. Developing stars in your own system is as rare as striking gold.

theo wanted to take conor jackson over murphy and if he did then jackson would be our starting firstbaseman right now but since a scout talked him out of it, we are stuck with an average at best player in murphy.

One of the main reasons the red sox passed over some of these guys was because they were high school players. The only two who were not High School players were Cordero and Quentin.
