Well there aren't many young US stars right now which is too bad. Who would you reccomend taking instead of Tkachuk, Weight, Guerin etc.

This has probably been the only event I've watched on a consistent basis.

 

The odd this is... I don't understand curling at all; I just can't stop watching.

Most of those guys are rookies and unproven players, going into the tournament I would rather have veteran experience and leadership over those players anyday. If we put out guys like that instead there would be everyone griping about how there were too many young guys and all the good vets were left at home. The US played well in all of their games except the one against Latvia, I really think those guys would make little to no difference if a few of them were on the roster.

Meanwhile Canada was picked to not only medal, but gold. All three of their losses were shutouts, including being shutout 11 of the last 12 periods!

Alright, I saved my trash-talking for this moment: The damn Canadians are eliminated! And so what if Team USA didn't win the Gold? We were expected to win the Bronze at best anyway. Nothing's gonna stop me from laughing at this overrated, cocky Canadian team who was not only expected to win the Gold, but to be undefeated throughout the Olympics as well.
