Yea, that team is fricken' stacked up front. If their injured D can hold up, and Hasek doesn't have a ridiculously good tournament, I can't see anyone taking the gold from them.

Personally, I think Luongo should start instead of Brodeur.

With the way Brodeur has led the Devils out of nowhere and to become one of the elite teams in the East (they're record does not show it but by the way they have played lately they have proved they are) you have to go with the hot hand and one who has experience. Luongo's never even played in the playoffs. He's not having one of his best years and Brodeur has proven his greatness time and time again.

I prefer the winter games to the summer games. I am a sucker for snowboarding, skiing, and the figure skating. :dunno: They are such beautiful sports! Today I watched the figure skating.

a huge embarassment for the US to tie a team like Latvia. i don't expect a medal but to tie latvia is awful.

This years Olympics doesn't have the same appeal to me, why i dont know. Just no good stories really, I much prefer the Summe Olympics over the Winter.

I dont know the SUmmer Olympics had swimming, which lived up to the hype, the gymnastics wasnt even that bad, and the track wasnt terrible. The basketball blows though

If I'm them, I'm feeling extremely confident with Vokoun in net. He goaltended their team to a win in the World Championships, didn't he?

 

As for the US game... this team doesn't have a prayer at medalling.
