With the merciful ending of the super bowl, and the american disinterest in basketball and that other sport that America Jr. seems to love, the sports focus will soon be pointed squarely onto baseball and for us in the northeast, that means the yankees and red sox will be back on the field. Nothing like having 162 out of 180 nights dominated by baseball. God I love baseball season and this season should be a good one. No yankee slant here, just happy to see the calendar moving towards rawhide and away from pigskin....

This is usually the boring part of the year for me because all that's on is the friggin' Celtics and the Bruins. But with the Olympics and the WBC, it might actually stay interesting.

I will not watch the WBC... I don't care that people say, "They are playing for national pride." I believe that maybe for teams that suck... the US or other stacked teams like us will just play it out like a All Star game win and get to the medal round and then go 50 percent and win it all.
