this ref is when his percentage of overturning calls is the worst in the league. there is a reason that holmgren went up to him at half time because he knew what his assistants knew which was big ben never broke the plain.

How is that the worst percentage? It could be the best percentage.

Why do you think the ref with the highest percentage of overturned calls isn't working the Super Bowl?

Exactly. If his percentage is low that usually means he gets calls right the first time.

The fact that I am posting right now instead of paying full attention to this game shows how pathetic this game has been. The superbowl is a holiday for me, this one just makes me nauseous....

I dont really care for this game either to be honest with you all. The only reason I'm watching is because I have a bet with one of my friends. If the Seahawks win I get a can of raspberry arizona iced tea. If the Steelers win I have to get her a bag of pizza goldfish. Yeah, I know, pretty badass bet if I do say so myself. B)

Congrats to the STEELERS! Especially to Jerome Bettis.

Yes, finally, football is over. Now ESPN can shut up. Oh s***, one more game... Pro Bowl.

After all of this I am down a bag of Pizza flavor goldfish. Anyone know if they even have those anymore?

The funny thing is, the one bet I made with my friend. I told her I wanted the Steelers. But then she said that she had the Steelers so I had to switch... not really fair if you ask me.

That's ok, we'll let the Steelers borrow our trophy for one year.

Yea, then the Jets or the Giants are going to borrow it next year as well  lol jp

I love the Steelers. w00t

(I also like the Pats. I have a special reason to like the Steelers, so it's a bit different, but, wierd, I know. I also like a couple of other teams)

Steelers win. Wow, I thought Seattle was going to score and blow the spread.

well actually they should have if it wasent for the referees ,f*** everytime the hawks mad a big play it be followed by a penitly ,,f*** come on that wasent any pushoffs, they were both fighting for position ,ben never crossed the goal line either ,and in the beggining of the fourth quarter when hasselback hit his receiver on the 2 yard line there was no f***ing holding on the play ,even the announcers said it ,and that play changed the game dramaticaly .And whats even worse after trowing throwing the INT he makes the takle and gets called for illegal block ,WtF was that. Im sure that makes sense to you too getting penalized for making a tackle

Noooo. Please stop. I'm sick of hearing people complain about the refs. The Roethlisberger play was inconclusive, so they couldn't overturn it. The Jackson pushoff was close but if they hadn't called it people would still be whining.

The only really horrible officiating this playoffs was Polamalu's pick.

so you can honestly say that the officiating did a great job?i didnt ,to be honest i dont like one of the 2 teams but seattle got screwed by some calls ,And also if you didnt noticed seattle played the better game .and the stats proves it, wich leaves the question why did they lost ? this was the worst officiated super bowl ive seen

Posted
seattle's clock management was pathetic and also a contributing factor in why they lost the game.

yeah i guess but they overplayed the steelers the whole game they should have won it

i would also say jeremy stevens is very overrated as a tightend. he had at least 3-4 key drops that should have been catches that would have been huge for the seahawks.

Yeah. He had opportunity after opportunity to make Joey Porter look bad. Porter didn't exactly have his greatest game ever, but atleast he didn't have numerous mistakes that contribute towards his team losing.

And also what was the deal for the comercials, everyime there was a commercial it was about pittsburg winning the supper bowl,f***,I saw 1 that was from the hawks, its like it was preplayed ,it was annoying too
