i just saw that the reds fired their gm

i read on espn.com(or the herald, cant remember) that there was a three way deal in place instead of the two team trade between the sox and Guardians, that would send riske to us along with crisp, as of now it looks as though we arent getting riske

i would love his addition to the bullpen

since the reds fired their gm, does that mean that the three team trade could be back in place?

the trade where we get coco crisp was originally going to be a three team trade, involving the reds, but it fell through

now the reds just fired their gm, so could that potentially get them back included?

if they had been involved we would get david riske

FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal believes the Guardians will trade Coco Crisp to Boston for Andy Marte and Guillermo Mota and then send Arthur Rhodes to the Phillies for Jason Michaels.

No mention of David Riske or the catcher swap here. The Boston Herald also suggests that Riske is no longer part of the deal, because a three-team trade with the Reds fell through. It's the first we've heard of the Reds' involvement, but it would make sense for them to want Mota as a closer candidate. If Rosenthal's version of the way events will unfold is correct, then this is an unbelievable win for the Guardians. We don't understand why the Phillies would settle for Rhodes rather than Mota or Rafael Betancourt, especially when Aaron Fultz, another left-hander, was so outstanding for them last year. Hey guys, we should never ever deal with the Reds. The organization has become a laughing stock to match the Dodgers, Brewers, Royals and D'Rays. They oversell the worth of their players and can never pull the trigger on a big trade for fear of looking like the boobs they are. When they are forced to finally trade one of their malcontents it is usually a fire sale where they get less than they would have had they traded the guy earlier. The Reds bear no resemblance to the once mighty Big Red Machine.
