Super Bowl Grid Contest

This is a very easy and fun contest, especially if you’re going to be watching the Super Bowl. All you have do is enter, by making a post saying that you want to enter. There is no cost, there is no picking or knowledge of football required. All the picks are assigned randomly. The current entrant level is 25 ( I may increase it to 50 if there is enough response ). This means the first 25 are in, if the total hits 50, the next 25 are in ( totalling 50 ) at either point it will be cut off. So what I'm saying is enter early. I'd love to see the contest hit fifty participants, but I will cut it to 25, if the response is slow. If you have questions about what a grid is, ask questions on the site, from friends of search the internet. If you are winning or have won a prize, you'll know as I will be posting continuous up-dates based on scores and quarters. Basically, this is like a free raffle based on numerics and random probability. Remember, I will cut off the number of entrants at the most divisible 100 number 25 or 50, if we don't hit 50 then anyone that entered after 25 is out ( the reason for 100 is that is the number of squares in the grid ). I will determine the cut-off date. I will post further explanations after the grid is full.

 

The Rules :

*** You must be a member with at least 10 posts

*** The first 25 to post that they entered are in, are eligible, the next 24 are not eligible until the total reaches fifty ( at which point all entry is closed ). To make it clear, there will either be 25 or 50 contestants, nothing in between.

*** Entrants eligibility will be based on their post date.

*** Only one entrant per valid screen name.

*** Mods/Admin. are eligible for all cash prizes. The Gift certificate and privileges will revert back to non Mods/ Admin. starting at the 1st quarter and continue , quarter by quarter until a non Mod/Admin. has won.

 

The Prizes :

 

1st Quarter :

......$ 25 Cash

 

Halftime :

......Custom Name ( provided by the generosity of Yeszir ) This can't be bought anywhere.

......$ 100 Cash

 

3rd Quarter :

......$ 50 Cash

 

End of Game :

.......Custom Name ( provided by the generosity of Yeszir ). Priceless, there is no money that can buy this privilege ( I hope I win it ).

.......$ 200 Cash

 

In summary, you can get $ 400 in cash, prizes, and privileges just by posting a response of I'm in. Duh, pretty much a no brainer.

I thought of that, but after looking at last year's and doing a draft ( 2 1/2 pages on Word ), I figured it would be easier just to get the grid filled and explain along the way. Those that know, aren't a problem, those that don't, by now, should be able to trust me. The are only a small amount of people that will read and follow a long post.
