Well, I'm a little biased, obviously, but I can't go against UConn. Too much talent and too much depth to bet against 'em, in my opinion. But, their concentration has been questionable at times -- can't see 'em slipping up and losing focus in the tournament, though. You never know in the tournament, though!

UConn, Duke, Villanova, and should all do really well.

If they can get everyone onboard for 6 games they can beat anyone in the tourney ... but Duke IMO. I hate UConn with a passion but I can't deny their talent.

Yeah, as much as I'd love to see that game, I wouldn't mind Duke being upset at some point.

 

... then again, at the same time, it wouldn't feel right unless we beat Duke -- just so there's no doubt that we're the best if we win.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong their a really good team, and Morrison's a superb talent, but #5 in THAT conference??? I dunno...

i like BC and I root for them but they are definitely not a final four team. a good team that if hot at the right time is very capable of making the elite eight but that is pretty much it.

BC is not a top 8 team in the country. They cant play from behind, and they dont particularly play their best vs ranked opponents. I think they won 2 games vs ranked opponents, correct me if im wrong. Not what I would call a top 8 team.

 

Excuse me, 1, UNC wasnt even ranked when we beat them.

No s***, but you can always tell which teams have the toughness and the intangibles to go all the way. BC doesnt have that this year. They are a horrific free throw and three point shooting team. Theyll be lucky to get to the Sweet 16.

I think WVU had the element of suprise, last year. Nobody thought they could beat Wake, and then when they did, it was said to be because Paul and Gray fouled out.

I'm like 90% sure I did. Im not sure if I have the bracket lying in one of the piles of s*** in the hell hole known as my room, but if I stumble across it, I'll verify.

BC has won 11 of 13 games. If thats not considered hot i don't know what is. I'm not saying they are a guaranteed elite 8 team but they are a team very capable of going on a run to the elite 8.

You gotta take into account the SOS and the quality of opponents they have faced over that stretch.

Like I said, you have to be hot going into it. BC may be hot now, but I think they are going to stumble in the ACC tourney. Duke, NC State, UNC, Virginia, Miami, and Maryland can all play with and probably beat BC on any given night, not to mention a real underrated FSU team. With BC's inability this year to beat top teams I dont think theyll do well in the ACC tournament and get a 5 or 6 seed and having to end up playing one of the top mid-majors like Air Force, Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Bucknell, etc. Then in the next round they'd have to play a 3 or 4 seed team, like UNC, LSU, Iowa, Tennessee, UCLA, Illinois, WV, etc. If they really luck out with their bracket they can do decent, but if they end up having to do something like that, which is highly possible, they are screwed.

Exactly. 2 games were non conference gimmes (Holy Cross and Stony Brook). Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Wake, and Clemson are all 2nd tier ACC teams. Only real impressive wins were at UNC and NC State.
