JJ against a great D and look at what happens.

Proving what? He won't be a #1 option on the next level, and the kind of contact that is allowed in college ball is a foul in the NBA.

That Duke is shooting twenty-some percent can't be ignored.

Ugh, it's over.

Definatly not ... we had every chance to win that game. The refs were definatly horrible but we were still in the game until the last minute or so.

BTW I thought it was hilarious that at the end of the game instead of calling the foul which was a reach on LSU ... they called out of bounds on Duke. It was either a reach ... or the LSU player smacked it out of Dockery's hand ... but no LSU ball. Just the icing on the horrible game they called tonight.

For the record I am not blaming the refs for this loss. We still should have won, but the refs added to our poor performance.

Its prove against bigger stronger players that he can't handle the pressure. LSU was a bigger more athletic team much like what the players in the NBA are like.

Yeah, JJ will be alright in the NBA -- won't be an all-star, I imagine, but he'll be a solid enough player.

What a game, though. LSU played a sloppy, sloppy game but were able to get the job done.

Memphis just advanced as well. No suprise there, though.

THAT'S RIGHT AND LSU IS AN SEC TEAM, NOT ACC, OR BIG EAST BITCHES!!! LETS TALK ABOUT SEC BASKETBALL NOW!!! HAHA i love this!!!

YES!!!!! I don't care if you don't know what your talking about because I called this one, and also I hate Duke. Big Baby and Thomas were nasty with the defense, and finally I won't have to jump out of my seat every time Sheldon Williams gets away with a foul. I will however miss JJ and his outstanding shooting. But this was a great game.

No it doesn't. You only think it does because you don't like JJ, which you've made abundantly clear with all of your snarky remarks about him. All it proves is that when he's the #1 option and he gets the full attention of a team with excellent athletes (double teams, rotating coverage on his drives, big men kicking out on mid-range shots) then he's going to have a rough night. It proves nothing about his potential on the next level because he won't be a #1 option on the next level.

I don't mind him and what he showed tonight was that he could be stopped. Along with him being the #1 option emans plays are designed for him, picks n all, which he won't have at the NBA level, and also opposing defenders will be more able to hold him down like tonight

GO LSU/BC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously man, who are you to tell me that i don't know what im talking about??? You don't know what i know about college basketball. I know that like I have always been saying, SEC is underrated, and you all have your east basketball held high. But lets see, the #1 team over all just got knocked off by one of my SEC teams that i've stuck by. I also know... that the only thing that East coast basketball has over my SEC Wildcats, is a couple of final four appereances.... so i do know what im talking about. What does eastcoast ball have now??? Uconn?? A team that is lazy, and doesn't even try? I would be proud of that. We got 2 teams going in strong. LSU, and UF. UF has dominated all of there competition so far, and is still going strong. If UF loses tomorrow, that damnit that sucks. But after seeing UConn play like they have of late, i wouldn't be holding my East Coast basketball up that high.

Redick's never been in double-figures in scoring in the Sweet 16 or later. So, meh, take from that what you will.

Maybe the animosity toward Redick will end when he leaves Duke. Maybe not.

Dude most of the people that post here live on the east coast. Obviously we're going to discuss east coast teams.

BTW can we wake up and realize that JJ wasn't just shut down tonight. He's played horrible since the last week of the season.

Oh tomorow is gunna be great, all the fairweather Duke fans are gunna be like, "Oh yeah, I was rooting for BC all along" it is going to be so sweet. That's partially why I hate Duke, because most of their fans like them just because they win, not because they have any other significance.

true hammer, i understand, but i hope this shows all of you guys there is more then jsut East coast ball. City of Champions gives me #### for stickin up for my SEC, but hey, like i said. You got a lazy team, and BC, who also struggled to stay in this. We will see what happens

Which is why he dropped 20+ against BC and carried them in that game. He was shut down big time on the perimiter, and most importantly down low, gettin stuffed/stripped everytime he tried penetrating. Notice he only visited the free throw line once and was a just another player tonight.

Yeah but there are upsets every year ... because Bradley beat Kansas does that mean the MVC is better than the Big 12?

They don't set picks in the NBA? Please tell me that isn't your point. And, what is an eman play? I've played a lot of ball, but that's a new one.

Well, if you look at half of the plays, almost all of them are a series of picks that Redick just runs around, and he has different patterns, etc. We do that for our perimiter shooter at my school, I even run some of em myself. Also, the NBA is so vastly different style-wise from the NCAA that they hardly run plays like that, I mean, when's the last time you've seen a zone in teh NBA?

Hello.... UK is practically the SEC, except this year obviously, but UK leads the SEC in every category

I'm sayin I have nothing against the SEC, I only trashed UK because you were trashin Cuse, but no problem, that was in the past.

The last time I watched an NBA game. I don't watch a lot of NBA basketball but I'm pretty sure every team runs a zone at some point in a game.

What time did that LSU bandwagon get to your house? I'm amazed it got there so quick.

in my ncaa tourney league, i just went from 16th to 4th after LSU beat Duke. Duke, this year, was probably one of the more overrated teams in college basketball since 2000.

Oh, so you meant that they don't run multiple screens in the NBA. You can't be serious?

Yeah but if you were smart enough to listen to Coach K and not the dumb f***s on ESPN you'd have known that this wasn't as good a team as the media made it out to be. It was still one of the elite teams in the game, but not an elite Duke team.
