When Bosh goes down in the 2nd quarter and doesn't come back' date=' you kinda have a problem. Bosh may be the most important player on the Heat. If you take LeBron or Wade from the equation, you still have the other. When Bosh goes down, who is going to replace him, Haslem? Pfft.[/quote']

People always say that Bosh Sucks and Soft and Doesn't fit with them...It works both ways ...Seem like they did fine without him..We shall see next game

Bosh had 13 pts and 5 reb in 16 mins and the heat were losing after the 1st quarter and struggled the whole 1st half?? The heat played BETTER after bosh left the gm , so your argument makes no sense at all?

The Heat are better with Bosh than without him. I'm not sure what is so complicated about that.

Pacers went ice cold and could not put the ball in the basket. Heat played better because they shot better than the Pacers. Simple.

People often seem to forgot how he was an all-star PF in Toronto. You could also make the same assumption for Pau Gasol, too. He is considered "soft".

I'm not debating that? I originally posted that the heat had trouble with the pacers? The guy responded that bosh went down? But in reality the pacers were winning when the heat had bosh..... Overall with or without bosh, the heat had trouble with a team they are supposed to blow out.... I'm not saying the heat won't win this series, just that they didnt look as dominate as people say they are

Lol... He was also the only option most of the time on a horrible team? I'm not saying he's not a "star" but I am saying he's not a superstar

There were Andrea Bargnani and Jose Calderon, along with Anthony Parker. The Raptors weren't that bad. They managed to make the playoffs twice when Bosh was there. So I don't see why you can call them a "horrible" team.

Read the rest of the thread troll.... The OP said it was a close gm cause thy lost bosh in the 2nd quarter.... The heat were losing while bosh was in the gm? And they obviously won without bosh? Have I once said the heat are better without bosh?? No... I was just pointing out the obvious contradiction to the OP's post

Yeah I call them horrible when one of the yrs they made the playoffs they were 41-41? And the 2 yrs they made it they were 3-8? In the postseason...

The raptors had 1 winning season with bosh? So yeah they were a bad team? It's pointless anyways, all I said in response to " people seem to forget bosh was a all-star" was that he was the main option on a horrible team?? I never once said bosh wasn't a great ball player?? You people on this site will read a post and take everything out of context 95 out of 100 times...smh

Who cares if they were 41-41, they still managed to make the playoffs.

You seem to be acting like Bosh is a bad player by saying they played better when he was out. He is an all-star player when he is the 1st option. The thing is that he 2 of the best players in the world on his team. So people disregard him and don't give him any credit for when the Heat are successful. If LeBron and Wade are playing bad, normally Bosh can pick up the missing production for the Heat.

Wow... I've specifically said like 5 times that bosh is a great player?? Read the whole thread for crying out loud, I used that to contradict the guys post that made an excuse for the heat having trouble against the pacers when he " well when you lose bosh in the 2nd quarter"??? My god man....

And yeah when you have A couple 33 win seasons a 27 win season... And you argue that "well they made the playoffs" with a 41-41 season, they were a bad team, how can you even argue against that? Seriously... I'm not and haven't been attacking bosh personally, so I really don't understand what your deal is?

Looks like the "dominant best team of all time" heat are having some trouble with the lowly pacers ( who have no real "superstars" by the way)

Too bad the Pacers aren't bad at all. They won't win the series but they'll win a game or two.

Why would I read all 319 pages?

All I see you praising Bosh is when you said he is a star but not a superstar.

If the Raptors made the playoffs at 41-41, they clearly are a good team despite their record.

Take a look at your old Celtics teams. The season they drafted Perk, they went 36-46 and somehow made the playoffs. The fact you make the playoffs as a team 5 games under .500 makes the conference very bad or top heavy. The next season, they won 45 games and made the playoffs in an incredibly weak division. Then they fell off the map before acquiring Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, winning 33 and 24 games. Were those Celtics pretty bad outside of Pierce? Yes, so you can't really discredit Bosh's Raptors when the Celtics were average during Bosh's tenure in Toronto pre KG/Allen.

You can't take the 2 yrs the raptors made the playoffs and just discredit all the seasons they didn't and then say they were a good team though? This all started from a statement that you or someone took out of context thinking I was saying that bosh is "over-rated" or something, when in reality it was just a comment with no innuendoes to it?

I also have not or never have disputed or even mentioned anything about the celtics pre kg/Allen? So I don't even know how to respond to that? The celtics were just as bad as the raptors? I'm sorry but any team that was in the lottery 6 times out of an 8 yr stretch is a bad team? And your right the east was very weak for a number of yrs ( aside from the top 4-5 seeds ) for the first 3/4 of this decade... So if a team consistently registers losing seasons in a weak conference, does that not make them a bad team?

Edit- last decade

The "lowly Pacers"? Seriously? Do you watch them at all? lol

They don't have a superstar, but they have one of more balanced starting fives in the NBA, every player in their starting 5 (Hill, George, Granger, West and Hibbert) is a good player and would find a way to play on any team. Not only that, but they have really solid depth off the bench.

Oh and the comment was stupid, they had "trouble" with the Pacers and still won the game, despite Bosh missing the 2nd half. I don't care if they "played better without Bosh" the Heat are not better with Joel Anthony in over Chris Bosh.

Some of the comments made in this thread are completely stupid.

Ever hear of sarcasm??? The way people ride the heats nuts, I was clearly understating the "lowly" pacers as they were playing the already crowned heat??

Well you say some pretty stupid things and you are usually serious, so its really hard to tell if you are being sarcastic or not.

So sorry for not riding on the heats bandwagon, sure it's easy to talk about a great team with 2 of the top 5 ball players in the world and a 3rd in the 20's-30's range..... At times I have to reach for things to show the love for my celts, and some people can't " see " what I'm getting at....

Regardless, and I'll be the first to say it ... I truly hope bosh is back when the celtics play the heat next round... Don't want any excuses when the celts are playing for their next banner

Lakers looked bad vs the Nuggets. They're not beating OKC. Kobe won't see another ring in his career. Book that.

I hope he doesn't because if he does he thinks with 6 rings he belongs in the same category as MJ and he doesn't

What's funny is no one is a Heat fan here. JBay is a Wizards fan' date=' I'm a Nuggets house, and Jacoby_Ellsbury is a Celtics fan. We're just realistic.[/quote']

So if everyone is going to be "realistic" , what's the point of watching the games or even playing them for that matter? Because "realistically" everyone knows it's going to be okc/mia in the finals?

"realistically" the red sox had NO chance of beating the Yankees in 2004 after being down 3-0...... I'm glad I kept watching the series
