I also picked them to win it all on the NBA contest.

That's like having 40 brackets in an NCAA pool.

Odds are one of them is going to be right.

More like 1 bracket in the NBA pool...but whatever you say.

So you said Dallas wins on this site, but you picked GSW on Facebook.

Nice job hedging your bets. That's the point.

Exactly. If you filled out your bracket anything like 99% of people do, you more or less picked it how you wanted to go. I said the Nuggets would win it all on Facebook but acknowledged that the chances were that they wouldn't leave the first round. You basically said that barring a miracle, Dallas would win. Dallas lost, yet you take credit for predicting it? Please.

No question that Dallas had a better chance to win that series and I acknowledged that on my playoff predictions, however I chose Golden State to win it all on the playoffs contest and I doubt anyone else here did so ha.

Stop acting like you predicted it. Just because you filled out all other things the way you would've liked for them to go doesn't make you Nastradamus when things work out that way. You gave a detailed statement of how the series would be, and it said Golden State would need a miracle to win. The only thing that you told us would happen is that Dallas was basically a sure thing to advance. Nobody likes a bragger... certainly one who's bragging about something they didn't get right.

You have to give the guy credit if he picked GS in the contest. That's really going out on a limb, and no one expected them to advance past the first round.

Not really. If he was in two contests, and in one picked Dallas and the other GS, what's so difficult about that?

Yep, and you picked Dallas on this site.

This has gone on far too long. Not that complicated. By picking both teams, you're guaranteed to be right somewhere and that's the whole point of SR saying you shouldn't brag.

Dumbshit.

On here' date=' I was saying that Dallas had the better chance at winning because of their experience and their talent. In the post where I said who I thought would win each matchup, I went with the one who was more likely to win and obviously that is Dallas, however I chose GS to win it all in the contest because I doubted that many people chose them and out of the teams that were most likely rarely picked, GS had the best chance to win it all seeing that they have had success against Dallas recently and they also provide matchup hell for teams because of their speed and unbelievable point guard in Baron Davis. So, in conclusion, shut up.[/quote']

Whatever.

Dude, you act like you know all when you even mocked picking Golden State to win it all, I'll find the post if it's necessary. And you never said that (above post) until after the series making you look like a frontrunning moron. So you shut up.

In other words, you picked GS because it would be a big upset, and if it happened it would provide you a unique edge in the pool. This isn't to say you "thought" they would win, so when you stick your head between your legs to fellate yourself for "calling it" it comes off as disingenuous. Considering the source, a guy who's very quick to give self-praise, one can understand the reaction. So, if you don't like it when people call you out on this behavior, you have two choices, one, you cut the self-aggrandizing, or two, you make sure you haven't thrown an opinion out there that can bring down the whole house of cards.

You guys seriously must have no lives if you turn this into some big thing just over me picking Golden State to win it all and then saying I told you so. I'm sorry if any of you were so offended that you have to piss and moan about it for a whole page.

Oh God. Did you seriously just play the "you guys have no lives" card while you are an active participant in this exchange?

Ok...I don't know what you want me to say. I mean picked the Warriors to win it all kind of as a toss up and knowing they had somewhat of a shot and I was happy that they won. There's really not much more to it and I dont know why you all are dwelling on it.

We dwell on it because we have no lives. And you bragged about it. But mostly because we have no lives.

It's the 'no lives' part. Definetely no lives.

The problem was that you bragged about it like a jackass. And as I said, nobody likes a bragger.

anybody watched the sunsVS spurs lastnight? quite the body check robert horry gave steve nash , Diaw and Stoudemire probly will be suspended for game 5 for leaving the bench .

If Diaw and Stoutemire get suspended Duncan' date=' Bowen, and Horry need to too.[/quote']

nope , duncan and bowen were allready on the floor when this happened .they didn't leave the bench , diaw and stoudemire did. robert horry of corse probly will be suspended

They still ran over to the incident. I fail to see the difference between the two happenings, especially since Duncand and Bowen had to run FROM THEIR 3 POINT LINE to get to Nash and Horry.

OMG its an NBA rule that if you leave the bench at any time ( meaning your not one of 5 on the floor ) its an automatic suspension , it dosent matter if duncan and bowen ran over from the 3 point line they were 2 of the 5 on the floor , and its not like they ran over and hit someone they ran over to break up what was happening so NO THEY DONT DESERVE A SUSPENSION

I understand it's a rule, but the fact is they moved a shorter distance than Duncan and Bowen did.

How do we know Stoutemire and Diaw weren't trying to break it up?

Fact is it was a very dirty play by Horry and it's a shame that's the focus of it instead of a great comeback by the Suns.

even if Stoudemire and Diaw ran there to break it up it dosent matter its a NBA rule , you cant leave the bench period , stupid rule ? yes .

and yes robert horry made a very dirty play and will be suspended for it . its a shame that Stoudemire and Diaw probly will be suspended too but its an NBA rule and they know it

Stoudemire said he was only leaving the bench to go check-in. I think this is true, but I also think he used it as an excuse to get over to the action. We'll see. The only person that should be suspended is Horry. If I remember correctly, Antoine or Pierce was ejected a few years ago for something miniscule in comparison to this, in the playoffs.

Jason Terry was suspended for a groin shot on Michael Finley last year.

Robert Horry sure is an idiot, though. All of this talk about the Spurs being a dirty team and he goes and does something like this.
