I don't remember seeing a team that was this much fun to watch. If Denver can't win it all, I have to admit I'd be pulling for Golden State.

Watching Melo and Nene cover Tony Parker during the final 2 minutes of the fourth quarter was painful to watch...tough game to watch but the Nuggets are going to have to play better defense in game 4 especially when it comes to Parker and Duncan. Also' date=' the Nuggets seem to have had a tendency of leaving wing players like Finley or Horry completely wide open from time to time leading to easy shots that could have been prevented.[/quote']

Nuggets are so inconsistent throughout a game. They have ten or so minute stretches where they play great defense and score so easily, and then after they go on a run, they play terrible defense and have all sorts of trouble scoring.

Whoa...Darrent Williams died???

The limo he and Javon Walker were in on New Years go shot. And then another Bronco, Damien Nash, died of a heart problem not long after.

I would assume they did. I was in Florida at the time and didn't have much access to a TV or the internet, though, so I wouldn't know.

Wow' date=' I can't believe I never heard this. Did ESPN not make that big a deal about it?[/quote']

They talked about it a lot and showed lots of clips of teammates and coaches talking about him. It was a big deal for a few days, but was still talked about a little bit for the rest of the week.

I remember saying Golden State would give Dallas a ton of problems but I never expected them to go up 3-1, which is what they did tonight. Well, after Game 3 I actually did expect them to win tonight and win the series -- but before the series, I never woulda thunk it'd be possible.

dallas is a fraud

nowitzki is soft and their owner is a f***ing ****

i do enjoy watching the invincible teams like dallas fold like accordians once the heat gets turned up in the playoffs

what was their regular season record??

67-15??

bwahahahahahahaha

Yeah, me either. But take a short trip back in the NBA Playoff time machine, my Suns were down 3-1 to the Lakers last year and won the series. It's not over yet, Golden State needs to come out firing in Game 5 and just bury Dallas, otherwise it could get ugly fast.

Some bad officiating in Denver. They're allowing a lot of contact in the Nuggets attempts to guard Tim Duncan -- it's at least consistent, though. No worse than game two where Iverson got beat up and never once saw the line, I suppose. Nuggets are playing a very good game, though -- I don't like Melo shooting threes as often as he has but they've been falling, so I can't complain too much.

On another note, Melo's game is so much better now than it has been in seasons past.

Also, if you're watching the game... how random is it that the Nuggets fans boo Manu every time he touches the ball? I think it's hilarious because he's never done anything but torch us in the playoffs one year.

That call on Iverson is easily the worst call I've seen in this postseason. Duncan jumped over his back, flipped over because he went over the back, and the call went against AI. Absolutely terrible.

Good game, tough loss. The Spurs are a hell of a team -- the Spurs got that one call, but other than that, the officiating heavily favored the Nuggets, I thought, and we still couldn't beat 'em. Duncan got hacked constantly and we still couldn't stop their offense.

Oh well, good game, it's been a good season. But no way we take the next three. I'm pulling for the Warriors, I think.

Their tough, but you guys NEED to win at LEAST one maybe two more, wear the hell outta em. So we can rest up a little and beat the tar outta them. B)

EDIT: Granted we have to handle our business with the Lakers tomorrow night, but seeing as how the Lakers pretty much gave up in game 7 last year, I'm sorta expecting the same thing this year, and if not that I think we should put them away anyway because it's at home.

Stephen Jackson has got to be worst poor looser ive ever seen . take your loss and stop being an idiot ' date=' i hope the mavs can win the next 2[/quote']

Oh come on now. I can almost guarantee that if Dallas drops game 6, Dirk will throw SOMEONE under the bus like he did when we beat them two years ago (Erick Dampier). I know Jackson can get over emotional, but I'd be willing to bet that your boys will be doing the same thing if their in the same boat he was in(HOPEFULLY :D  ) after Game 6.

Is clapping really that bad of an offense? He wasn't even looking towards the official.

NBA Officials need to get the sand out of their vaginas. Talk about sensitive...

according to don nelson , clapping like and idiot is a bad offense , and he's gonna fine him again. i f a player does something that your own coach dosent like it has to be bad

Clapping is a bad offense to Don Nelson because Stephen Jackson got a technical while doing it. You think that if Stephen Jackson didn't get a technical he would be fined? Like I said... NBA refs have gotten ridiculously sensitive -- they need to get the sand out of their vaginas. The game was over at that point, anyway.

Me too. I like how, I think it was Steve Kerr, described the way they play. If Phoenix is organized chaos... Golden State is just chaos. And it fits them so well. What a fun team to watch play -- and when they're hitting the type of shots they have been and they feed off of that crowd they can beat anybody in the League in a seven game series.

They were up 20 and still got to EVERY loose ball in the 4th quarter.

I think they present matchup problems to whoever they face in the 2nd round.

That choke was almost as bad as a certain 2004 choke' date=' but not quite.[/quote']

actually it was worse , were talking about a 67 win team who was 25 games over GS. with 2004 both teams were great .

and dirk way to go with going 2 for 13 , what a disgrace . i hate to say it but we need someone else to lead this team . dirk isn't getting it done

and cuban after the game said that this loss wasent as bad as loosing to the finals last year . wtf , in my opinion this loss was more crushing cause they were heavily favored

Bosox, you said...

Dallas vs Golden State (Don't be surprised if GS takes a game or two, they've had a good amount of success against Dallas recently, however the Mavericks are arguably the best team in the league and barring a miracle, will move on to the second round.)

How is saying that Golden State will need a miracle to move on predicting Golden State to win?

I digress... Dirk is soft. The Mavericks offense should be run through Josh Howard since he's the much more versatile player.

I wonder how long Cuban was crying after the loss. His eyes looked pretty red to me.
