I didn't overrate them, I said it was a nice shot by Paul Pierce. But of course your basketball prowess could have easily matched it. In the span of 24 hours, you called me a:

fag

retard

f***ing idiot

idiot

f***ing idiot

idiot

I'm sorry I don't meet your basketball godliness expectations...but with all due respect, umm, how should I word this...shut the f*** up you f***ing **** bag faggot.

Good?

i saw that game on league pass.. hell of a game, everything was falling.

i dont feel the need to comment on the celtics other than everyone (bosox and retard coco) overrating them after one win which they needed a game winner from pierce.

Yeah, I missed that one but the next night I got to see the Nuggets drop 74 on Miami in the first half. JR Smith was 7 for 8 on threes in the first half.

Haha yeah I watched that one too, it was on ESPN. Smith was on fire in the first half. Nuggets have been playing pretty well this year, better than the Celtics <_ jr has been awesome this season especially for my fantasy team waiver wire pick up src="//d1mqtyoopj0gsc.cloudfront.net/emoticons/default_smile.png" alt=":)">.b

And BoSox you were overrating them haha. You were being WAY too optimistic. ONE win means nothing, they need a bunch of WINS (yes, plural, with an S on the end).

And coco, haha stop posting in this thread, at least bosox knows kind of what hes talking about you're just an idiot.

If you want to see extremely over-optimistic fans, go to celticsblog.com. Some people over there are saying that they'd rather keep Big Al than trade him for Garnett after just one game.

If Al keeps playing like this, what the heck do we need KG for? :? And no way I would trade him for Iverson either. Al is a keeper.

I mean, he had a great game...no question about that, but let's see him put it together for a few games before we put him in the hall of fame.

Theo Ratliff F/C Out Nov 11 back Out indefinitely

Latest News

Theo Ratliff is likely done for the season (and maybe his career) due to his back injury. While there are very few details on this, it sounds like Doc Rivers will be surprised if Ratliff plays again this season. He also said that Kendrick Perkins and Michael Olowokandi are still "weeks away" with their injuries, so Al Jefferson should continue to be the man in the middle for the Celtics.

3 game winning streak.

Tony Allen seems to be coming along even though he's still pretty one dimensional. Big Al was an absolute animal on the boards with 13 rebounds and a sick 3 block play on Webber. Hopefully we can continue the streak and beat Denver on friday.

He hit a few shots tonight and he was a great defender last season, shutting down the likes of Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter at times, but you have to admit that he lost some confidence in the early parts of this season. He's mainly been a drive to the hoop player who should avoid dribbling at all costs because of his turnovers. It looks as if he's gainign confidence as he made some nice jumpers tonight and he's beginning to look more aware on the defensive end. He's had some unfortunate circumstances early in his career and hopefully he can develop into a good player.

What a game.

Tony Allen putting up 30 and playing 48 minutes....48 minutes...interesting.

BIG AL Jefferson 28 points and 10 boards...another monster game.

4 in a row, division leaders, and a good chance at making it 5 in a row tomorrow night against Charlotte.

That was a ridiculously cheap shot on JR Smith to start it all but I'm disappointed in my Nuggets that they let it escalate the way it did. Like Isaiah said, it should've been a flagrant, two foul shots and nothing more.

Hey I'm not complaining, this should keep him out long enough until we play the Nuggets again on the 26th. By the way, See Red, what'd you think of the game last night?

Didn't get to watch. 'Melo showed up to play, though. If you're bragging then I'd wait until your record is anywhere near the Nuggets before you do. One game does not make a better team. Besides, our track record this season has been losing to inferior teams.

Nuggets pulled a Nuggets last night. I was there.

They get down in the beginning big and never fully recovered. Melo played amazing, even though Allen played even better D on him. Fun game though, the result probably would have been different had JR Smith shown up at all.

He's real hit or miss it seems. I wish the team didn't really so heavily on him because when he doesn't show up it's ugly for the team.

For throwing one punch? Less than ten. His role was no worse than Ben Wallaces in the last brawl' date=' and he only got six.[/quote']

I think his role was equal to Jermaine O'Neal's, that was a good punch for fighting, but bad for basketball

I managed to not realize how insane this comment is the first time I read this.

You think punching another player is equal to punching a fan?
