LOWE. I was f***ing pissed when we lost him (Not as much as I was when we lost Pedro, but still), especially after his postseason performance last year.

Clement is totally lost on the mound and Arroyo is too inconsistent. At least we know what Lowe goes out with, sinkers...LOTS OF EM. But this is fantasizing, and not reality.

Your right, if the Red Sox win this thing it will be because they out slugged the White Sox. The Red Sox simply dont have any form of consistant pitching so they need there offense to be special. The past 2 games its been pretty below avarage for themsevles.

And then we go back to US Cellular (Damn but thats a really lame name for a stadium) and Clement will be nailing batters in the knees again.

Everyone nationaly is saying "oh what if wake goes out and loses game 3 with Schilling not even pitching, saying they have to start schill in game 3" it is so stupid wake has been our ace and i will live and die with him for the rest of this year, it also would be nice to have Curt in game 4, saying it gets that far

if the red sox come back from this 0-2 it would top 03 because this White Sox team is better than the A's were, nothing will top the ALCS last year, ever period, or 99 with Pedro and O'LEarys heroics

wow, I dont hate the redsox or their fans, i mean just because of this monkey Dolphinron dont mena you have to hate the real whitesox fans. I cant see how you hate the whitesox I mean i was really happy for the redsox winning the world series.

That's not why. I've been to the Southside of Chicago, and I've gone to a few ChiSox games, donned in Red Sox clothes, and it was an unpleasant experience. I was surrounded by drunks, it seemed like. Not so say Wrigley, however. That place is pretty bad, too.

I have talked to a few people that have been to US Cellular Field and they all say that it can get pretty violent.

after last year i will never doubt this team, but my confidence is low, and i was just thinking how rare it is to go back-2-back, i mean we before last year we hadnt won in a long time, but we cant expect this team to win it every year

Yeah. 3 runs per game is NOT Red Sox like. We averaged something like (I don't know the actual numbers) 5 or 6 runs per game. We scored 901 this year! Geez, lets show it huh? Damn.

But Wells pitched well enough to win. 2 ER in 6 2/3 wins alot of games. Other than him, our pitching hasn't been what it was or can be. Like I said, I miss Lowe, and Pedro. I know about our youth movement, but I thought we should have kept at least one. I don't see him getting in the way of developing our youth this year if he was in our rotation. But again like I said, thats fantasizing.

Yeah in fact I believe you guys avarage about 2 runs more per game at home so its good that you guys are going home. Wells pitched well enough to win. Its ashame he suffered that fate. Atleast you guys have Paplebon for a full year in the starting rotation next year.

I've felt that way in Boston...you're going to feel that way when your in an opposing team's territory. You're going to criticize everything you see because you think what you've got is so much better. Opposing fans are drunks, idiots, and *******s...that's the way it is. But ask your opponent's fans about your fans and your going to get the same response. You're from Boston, suck it up...

I would think we are able to win 3 straight, but the pitching staff worries me way too much. I just hope we can do it. If we do, that'll be impressive.

Home cookin' with Wake on the hill. Should be a great game and hopefully he pitches like Wells did today, but with defense this time.

Papelbon in the rotation for a full year will be great, and hopefully we get to Game 5 and we get a preview.

Talking s*** now because you're up 2-0 huh? :thumbdown I thought you weren't here to pick a fight. Pipe down. Every team has bad fans, but Chicago's notorious for s*** like that.

Wake has been the Red Sox best pitcher this year. I would say thats the pitcher you would most want on the mound in this situation. I would expect him to pitch a good ball game. On the other hand Freddy Garcia I believe has the best road stats for a pitcher in the AL and the White Sox are the best road team in baseball. Game 3 should be ALOT of fun.

How am I talking s***? Someone was talking s*** about Sox fans...I just pointed out that you feel that way anywhere. I'm not trying to pick fights, nor will I ever. The series isn't even over yet and even if it was I wouldn't be talking s***. If you thought the "suck it up" thing was talking s*** all I was saying is everyone I've ever known from Boston doesn't seem to complain...they just suck it up and say that's life. If anything, I thought it was a compliment...I never meant for anyone to be offended...sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Again for Friday -

If White Sox score 5 or more, White Sox win

If White Sox score 3-4 , it's anybody's game

If White Sox score less than 3, White Sox lose

It's about pitching and defense. Good pitching stops good hitting. And the White Sox have good pitching.

dude dont even get me f***ing started. wakefield is our ace, and sorrrrry if I think a 1.99 ERA in September is kinda good for a starting pitcher. And yeah only reason he did bad on saturday against the yanks he was just on 3 days rest

No big deal, its cool. Im pissed that were down 0-2 and am backing up my fellow Red Sox fan. Thats all

The Red Sox have better than "good" hitting. Best offense in baseball.

Oh and the Red Sox don't just get their runs aginst bad pitching, they also nail very good pitching. You have a decent point but the Red Sox are the exception to that "rule"

I posted that the option is there, but knowing our manager, Tito would have to be on the crack pipe to make a decision to pitch Papelbon. It's gunna be Clement, he's already announced it.

I'm beginning to think that starting Clement would be the result of Tito smoking crack.

A little off-subject, guys... but let's lay off of the good White Sox fans. There's good ones who aren't trying to taunt us and are just giving their two cents... I'd rather not be hated by a whole other fan base because we're a little frustrated. I'm just saying...
